Moving before you fire fixes it for some reason. Also, sometimes the ranged unit will move on its own before firing.

I only use them if I expect to be in that area again. Otherwise, no use for any of them except the consulate and maybe the tower to grab that one last resource.
Sorry if this first one was mentioned before, but searching for 'command' brought up 20 pages of posts. Command is supposed to allow your unit to force a unit to take a turn immediately, but what it's done for me is to allow the casting unit unlimited turns. This is a nice way to cheese out a victory over a powerful opponent, but obviously not working as intended. Berserk also makes the unit take another turn immediately, but then they seem to go out of circu
I second the complaint about his slow movement. He should be 4. Stalkers/skaths are 5, aren't they? He's useless in a horseback party. Also, his attack was 26 when I fought him, but 17 when he joined me. New question, has anyone used his lightning run ability? I couldn't make it work. I had him lined up along a line of three units, and it told me it had to be cast on an empty tile, but when I did that it said 'spell mu
Why is water just scenery in this game? Why not have to get out to islands, etc.? Is this too complicated to implement? Or is the consensus that it just isn't worth doing?
Who wants more staves to drop? They are all terrible. They need to come with a built in block bonus to be worth anything. I get lots of those useless clubs, and a fair number of staves. Almost never a ranged weapon (at least not anything worthwhile), and yes, more swords and daggers than other weapons, but blunt and axes too. Decent spears turn up reasonably often.
I've never gotten a hero above level 13 or 14 in any game. You see all these cool items for high level heroes, but by the time you can use any of them, the game is almost over, or you just never get there. And #7, oh god yes!
[quote who="Nick-Danger" reply="17" id="3333920"] Tactical battles problem1: I'm fighting 3 spider-things. Spider 1 successfully webs one of my units. Spider 2 attempts to web the same, already webbed unit. Spider 3 does the same. Solution: check if target is already affected by the upcoming action. (yes, I understand not wanting to slow down things by adding checks, but this is a pretty big deal -- seeing spider after spider try t
There are a few things that have bothered me throughout the Elemental series, and it would be nice if they were fixed: In your city's build queue, it is very difficult to reorder production. If you suddenly discover a great place to send a pioneer, but your city has 10 items in line, it is nearly impossible to move the pioneer up to the front. The drag and drop is finicky and cumbersome, and will only work within each 'page'. What I mean by this is that t
Looked around and no-one seems to have mentioned these: I hired a hero and gave him a bow. Now, when he attacks, most of the time there is no animation, and after about 15 seconds the attack resolves (ie, you see damage/dodge). It's not 100% of the time, maybe 80. I had just founded my third city, went into the build menu, and when I came out, all the overlays except the map would not appear (city, army, etc.) The menu button at top left also disappeared.
