Saving game from the menu game froze, on alt-tab out there was a popup stating out of memory. Interestingly, on the previous turn end autosave worked successfully. With the attached save file I can no longer end the turn. When I click the button, nothing happens. I'm about 360 turns in to a game on a medium map.
That's what made me think it wasn't finished too Avatar1983. It seems like a good game, but if that's the entire campaign that's very disappointing.
It would be a little disappointing, but it's not a massive issue for me. After all, I usually play the campaign once, and then sandbox forever more. I just want to know for sure!
book 1 is the tutorial (or so I have heard). The non campaign game should keep you busy for at least the same again - per game!
Well, yes, I know that the meat of the game is in the non-campaign sandbox. I was just wondering if I had gotten to experience the whole campaign as it exists at the moment, or if there was a bug that prevents me (and some others) from advancing in it.

Well, the first book took around 3, maybe 4 hours for me. And the cut scene strongly implies that there is another chapter (as does the naming, Book 1: Relias in the menu).

In 2560x1600 the map is just a grey plane. The frame rate in windows with 3d content, such as the unit designer is also extremely low. Look like ~2 fps. Behaviour is normal with 1920x1200. debug.err Screenshot:

When there are multiple dialogs sjowing at once, such as a turn report and having found an item, text from the lower down dialog remains visible, almost like the above dialog is transparent: debug.err: http://pastebin.com/f44e9c197
