Black Screen on Start-up in Technical Sins Forums

When I click on the Sins icon, the game loads up and then hangs on a black screen. Almost instantly. I can't tab out, I can't get to the task manager, everything is just frozen. I don't get a cursor or any response from the program at all. I've downloaded the latest sound drivers and video drivers, I've changed the resolution in the user.setting file, I've turned off intro movies, I've changed the multisample value, I've done everything I've read/could think of. I'd *really* like to see the grammar cleaned up. The diplomatic scenes are fine, and can be explained with the Universal Translator glitching. But in the planet screen, I saw an extra "the" in a description box that tells you what the buildings do, and some of the technology descriptions are really bad. I don't mind the humor and the funky grammar when it comes to speaking with another race, but I really hate the crappy grammar present in the game as a whole.

I agree - the keys should be either mappable or they should change the arrow keys to map movement rather than ship movement.
