Favorite: I like the options that give you +1 arcane or +1 tech knowledge. Even though they are small fixed bonuses, those points are slow to come early game. I find that the tech bonus especially is a nice leg up. I'm also having good luck with an extra move point, the organized ability, some +1 speed boots (purchased later) and the teleport spell. 4 move for the whole stack + teleport lets me create a rapid response force that seems to be pretty effective at defending

Is it possible to level your sovereign through actions outside of combat? I want to play mine as more the wizard in the tower type.
