You can go to this URL: http://www.llamaserver.net/gameinfo.cgi?game=Elementalists and ask for resending of the turn file. I just did that for you, the .trn file should arrive to your mail account (provided wonderloss updated the Arco mail contact).

Excellent analysis, sir, I agree! Population limits felt like someone hitting me in the legs all the time while I try to run. Aside from whether this will work or not (or whether it makes intuitive sense, which it clearly doesn’t) - well, you can rationalize that with increasing number of studies, you must pay extra cost for the increasing complexity in the form of scribes/administrators/clerks/bureaucrats/whatever. It happens to companies and states, it should happen t

Question about the rules of the game - when building castles and labs and temples, does it matter if I have a lonely guy doing it, or a whole army? Common sense indicates armies should build faster, but castles have fixed build times in the manual. I know for sure that in sieges, the speed of destroying/repairing the walls depends on the size/quality of the armies. A little off-topic - be sure to try a new game called Frozen Synapse. I found it to be absolutely marvelou

Welcome aboard, MC. I suspect you just inherited a bunch of moderately starved mercs and a giant bookcase with countless tomes on the most esoteric subjects. Make good use of it! Concerning Agartha - he is building an autistic kingdom in the very south-eastern corner. You must look hard though - it's easy to miss, most of it is underground ;-)

Wonderloss, you still haven't submitted your turn. I thought you are waiting for louist to confirm the address change, but he already told you to go ahead, is there something else we are waiting for? If you are just taking your time with planning, I apologize.

I'd guess he took a bit too "theoretical" approach to ;-) Like all research and no army. Arco has the problem that you can have one or the other - to boost reserach, you must pick sloth that makes resource production difficult.

The Council wholeheartedly welcomes peace with the great and ancient kingdom of Lanka, whose people were never enemies of Hinnom. May all the war wounds heal quickly, and may Fate smile on the people of Lanka.

Uff, I thought the news will be like: "Android development ends, Windows Mobile 7 offered as replacement". Malware will always happen, as long as there are information to steal.
my opinion... Forgotten Realm's: "Baulder's Gate II, Shadows of Amn" I am almost 50 years old, and I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons since the days of 20 sided dice... hehe. I have played literally thousands of hours both on paper and computer, and years past I've won 3 different D&D tourniments at conventions. And easily the best, most heart wrenching adventure I ever played was Baldur's

Just bought the game, since I find the concept and execution brilliant! Been playing just one evening, but I am already hooked. So, is anyone here up for a game? ;-)

I take it back about elephants. I sent one of my one-man-armies into an elephantized independent province, and they swarmed him real bad, and after several rounds of misses from both sides, he got tired and fell. Annoying little buggers, as chaff goes, elephants are most annoying of them all! BTW Arco, IMO your greatest weakness was marching across half the world only to throw a punch at me for destroying our beloved Lady Yomi. That brought you into conflict with Tien Chi, who wanted

I will create a post in the official forums asking for a substitute. However, with all respect, two days is not a whole lot of time to find a replacement, louist. It's also good to mention such thing before the game (like "I have only 2 weeks and then I have to leave"). You must have known the game will be longer.

Well, elephants are really effective early troops, with two major weaknesses - low morale, and vulnerability to arrows - they have low protection and are really hard to miss. Also elemental magic does wonders. And their only strength comes from the trample ability. But when you have units of their size, and fight them normally, their stats really suck. They are just scared, oversized meatballs.

The Council would like to throw a feast at the occasion of the 65th birthday of the honored scholar and independent researcher Dagan, who unfortunately lost his voice due to a prolonged illness. Although mute, he keeps on writing tirelessly despite his advancing years, and his books like "Evocations and Invocations", "Demonology for dummies", and "Astral travel in three simple steps" remain influential in academic circles of Gehenna. <span style="c

Interesting recent links: http://www.businessinsider.com/why-time-is-short-now-that-were-past-peak-oil-2011-5 Moreover, Venezuela issued s statement that oil export is no longer a priority - because supply starts to lag behind demand and they can choose the buyer (so the old complacent tale of "they need us, cause they have to sell to us" crumbles). Similarly, Russia finished its

The following is a fragment of a theatre play, washed ashore in one of our provinces. For the sake of preserving the diversity of Hieronica's cultural heritage, the venerable Council decided to publish it (not regretting the considerable costs of scribe and papyrus): ... A military camp in a coastal province. Playful tide caresses the glittering sand in the backgroun

Ghostwes - I know I am the last one, but I was waiting for some diplomatic responses to return, plus there are really some hard dilemmas and decisions to make now, so please don't be angry at me taking some time. I also had a training session scheduled and I decided to make my moves after, because physical activity seems to clear one's head rather nicely. But it won't be long now. Regarding the lost items, if you happen to retain control of the province after the battle, a
Certain provinces are victory points. They only matter if the victory point condition is enabled. Victory point win is not enabled for this game, but the victory points still show.
Please also note that victory points spread dominion like temples, to an extent. The provinces with victory points are marked by a little symbol of a crown on the map.
