Has anyone made a front end for item creation? I personally don't have the ability to do it but was wondering if it were possible to do and if anyone has done it yet. I see people have made them for quests and races and such.

What makes the different leaders different from one another? I think that there should be random play styles for the leaders...aggressive, passive and such. Civ IV implemented this quite well. As for custom leaders, I think you should be able to give them a personality from a list of them as their default. All leaders should have a default personality but we could have an option to randomize them. If this has been implemented already I must have missed it somewhere and I am sorry. &nb

I have noticed this strip of land that appears on the edge of my generated maps. also a funny black guitar pick shaped smudge. Whenever I use the cheat to let the ai play turns without me, they always send my leader here to this corner like he is being punished. My leader just sits there until I decide i want to take control of him and move him. Then he teleports back to this corner whenever they control him. Can anyone recommend a new desktop computer that is in about the 500 dollar range that will play this game nicely? I would like to be able to have all graphic settings on and have the thing run smoothly. I know 500 dollars isn't much but it is all I can swing at the moment. Thanks
Well, my laptop just stopped working. I will be buying a new computer this week. How many computers can I activate this game on?
I am running a 3 year old dell laptop with 64 bit vista. a dual core processor and onboard ATI video. 4 gigs ram and a 500gb hd.I don't have all the exact specs right now because I am at work and not at home. It takes a good 2.5 minutes or more (sometimes 5 minutes) to load my saves or create a large world from scratch. I run gamebooster and don't have much installed on the system at all.
Will there be a printable version of the tech trees? also, how about having access to the in game hiergamenon from the game's main menu. I dislike having to load or start a new game in order to read it. Loading games takes forever.
Is it going to be possible to download a patch and install in on a computer that is not connected to the internet. I love this game so far but my wife and I are thinking about going a few months without internet. I would still have internet at work and could download stuff there. would I be able to download the patch from work and be able to transfer it to my home computer that is offline? I certainly hope so. thank you.

i can run it directly. It runs fine that way. It also runs fine if i right click on the impulse icon in the task bar and select 'My games" then select elemental. I get no launcher that way, the game just starts up. I was thinking maybe it had to do with elemental being installed in the program files (86) folder. If you have an elemental registry cleaning program i could give that a whack and then reinstall. If not, it is really no big deal I guess. just annoying when things don't run quite ho
i did a full install off of impulse. then, I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the files i downloaded from impulse anywhere. If you have a solution I would love it.
when i launch elemental from impulse on my desktop which runes vista 32 bit, I get a launcher dialog box that prompts me to click "play", "update game" or "manual" Which i assume is how it should be. when i play on my laptop which runs vista 64 bit and launch the game from impulse the launcher dialog only presents me with the options "install game" and "readme" the game is installed and runs fine but i want the launcher to work correctly. i ried copying the launcher from deskt

I just got an email from stardock informing me that Elemental has been released and with my purchase I would get a year's worth of free updates. Really, only a year? So last week I paid 80 dollars for the limited editiion and next year I have to give more money for updates? I would buy an expansion pack without hesitation, but am not a fan of any type of "subscription" based updates. especially if they are bug fixing updates.
