I switched to steam when impulse was sold. I have close to 60 games on steam and have never had a problem. I play offline most of the time but my minor sons prefer online for scores and chat. Now steam is also helping the smaller game developers with greenlight. Steam is not evil, it is a platform that has done a lot of good for pc gaming. Stardock has already said they are using it, how many times can the same people come in here a
In FE or historically? The French nobility at Agincourt would disagree, for the latter
Just because I can't stand an inaccuracy based on partial facts. Agincourt was an exception not the rule, (Poitiers and Crecy for that matter as well). The English longbows were successful because they were deployed effectively in difficult terrain, behind a barrier or obstacle that crippled the speed and mobili

I disagree... with the whole AI is broken idea. most games I've played 1 or 2 of the AI players generally outplay me to the mid game stage and then I've had to deal with their superior armies at some point. I had in one game a stack of doom with a champion and 8 Juggernauts come at me... only reason I could stop it was I happened to have an early dragon in one of my stacks that I had to crash Civ techs to get. Last game the AI had complet

Monsters will attack the AI, Not so much with cities or outposts but they will attack units. I used that to my advantage in todays game. On Challenging setting (both AI and overall level) Yithril managed to build a subtantial lead over me (way better starting position) and the Declared war. They only had one path of attack and I managed to capture one of thier outposts as early warning and prepared to switch to unit building to defend. The

If a tile meets a minimun critiera I'll settle immediatly if not i'll take 2 turns to "explore" to idneify if there is a nea

Leave them as is. Juggernauts are one of the very few AI units that I approach with caution. A stack of Juggernauts is about the only thing outside of dragons I'll run away from unless I'm using my "A" stack. even with the "A" stack I expect to take losses.

I agree. spells are not underpowered or trivial. used well they give you a decisive edge needed to tackle the larger monsters or units faster and earlier than you normally would be able to. Shrink is the best spell in the game, quickly followed by Blind, Haste, Heal, growth, and most of the others. I've used Paragon as well but sparingly....
