Dear Brad and devs, I greatly appreciate the efforts that you are doing in updating the game. However, I think that you should or find a way to free the savegames of the embedded XML data, or, more probably, provide us an utility which allow to update the old xml data in the savegames with the new one. You can't expect us to start a new game each time you release a patch or an hotfix (I know we are not obliged, but we want, and often need, the fixes in them).&nbs
CDO. And I don't find how to manually modify the XML file either, there are entries for faction color and so on, but not for map color.

I disagree, I like the random name generator and the names it produces (they have the right 'flavor' for me), and I really hate the predefined names of cities (probably the thing that I hated more in Civ4

I enjoyed a lot Brad's book, and I also liked the story of the first volume of the Campaign (even if it was by far too quick to play through). What about Book 2 (is it set between Book 1 and DE or after DE or in some other period)? TIA to Brad or anyb
A lot of good things in this Journal! And I also suggest to include for all the mods the possibility to rate them (out of ten, or out of 5 stars at least)... I think that in few months we'll have a huge amount of mods, and we need proper wa

I think that this is a double issue. 1) AI should evaluate better before rushing, both if the Sovereign is involved or not. About this, I'm confident that Brad will solve it as soon as he has some time to work on the AI and make it evaluate better equipment and so, as he anticipated in his last journal entry. 2) Empires and Kingdoms should not disappear when their sovereign is killed. I'm more worried about this, because it is not a bug, it seems to be a design
