Graphical glich when selecting Custom Race techs in Beta Reports GalCiv2 Forums

This graphical hiccup is fairly inconsequential, but can be easily reproduced. It occurs when you are playing a game, go back to the main menu, create a new game, and then choose custom race. As you can see, there is some layer missing that is supposed to dull down the graphics behind the name of each tech, when a new game is started under these conditions.

I could swear I got a 20% creativity tech from one of the races, deep into their their tech tree, but I can't find it now. I thought it was either the Thalan or Iconian tree, but I scoured them, and then every other race's tree searching for it. Was it just some fevered dream, or does such a tech exist?

CTD caused by Ascension Crystal spawning on top of a star. in Beta Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I've discovered, as have a lot of other people probably, that by hitting CTRL-N to respawn a map, ascencion crystals aren't removed after the new game is created. I was doing this a number of times, and then decided to play the game as it was with the numerous ascencion crystals. I would say there were and average of about 3 on each sector, although it may have been less. Mining Ship autopilot bug in Beta Reports GalCiv2 Forums

When I send a mining ship to autopilot to an asteroid, if the ship doesn't arrive at it's destination in the next turn, it won't start working on the asteroid automatically. It needs to be moved off and onto the asteroid again to work. I've witnessed this bug playing as both Custom Race and the Altarians. I figure it happens regardless of faction. Both times I was using the default game settings from installing the game, with the exception of difficulty being set to normal.

I couldn't get the game to load for a couple of days, and it was driving me nuts, but I figured out what was causing my problem, and I think at least a few other people might run into the same problem. I can't create a character on the Metaverse. If I try in Firefox(which is updated to 1.0.7), it just says "Processing Data..." forever. If I try in IE 6.0, When I click "Add Character", after typing in the character name and serail number, I get "Exception : Invalid column name 'SerialNum'.s, with "Processing Data..." in behind the message.
