Any other winning strats out there? BTW, my win was on "normal" pacing. I'm guessing that's harder than epic pace since you have more time to level in epic before the AI techs up.

Large map, dense/plenty etc. 10+ AI, Ridic / Ridic setting. The key: get your sov the combat spell which requires disciple in water/death. (I forget what it's called... 2 casting time, does damage based on caster level to all enemies unless they resist) Then once level 9+, just nuke every army and city with 1 cast of this spell. How I did it: Enchanter / master scout / civics / warriors / no ranged attack
Master scout is a must for higher difficulties. Not only the overland map movement, but also the tactical battles. Get a warhorse, master scout trait, and higher init and in most tactical battles you can ride circles around the monsters except when you have 2 actions in a row on the initiative queue, then ride in for a swing and use next action to ride out. Sorry, I would delete this post if I knew how... it looks propoganda just adds to "city income", and the actual gold coming to you depends on the tax rate. Really useless spell then, IMO. Meditation is worth 2 - 6 mana for free while propoganda is only worth a couple gildar at most at the cost of 20 mana (+ upkeep, if there is one, I forget) Another gold bug: I cast propoganda on a 3 essence town and it wasn't giving any gold bonus.
