Ok what does the guard command do exactly? Its not covered in the manual and the google search SUCKS. I hate google search inside a forum. I can't search by date or search only titles. Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but I seems to me like the units on guard just lay down for a nap until you cancel it.
Join the Club. I had the same thingn happen in my first game. It was on normal difficulty, and 2 empire AI had negative gold. The one that finnaly got me was in the hole for over 250,000. that pissed me off but I got the new patch and tried again. Well I just started a game with the newest patch and I have run into that again. This is getting REALLY OLD! I love Gal Civ and stardock did great with them. Well I've been playing defense for a while now against 2 kingdoms. Its not too bad because I have better units than both, but one empire is churning out companies (12 units in one) non-stop. Well I thought I would try to buy some time with a peace treaty. I check and the rating for peace is 37000 in his favor...Huh? so I look and he has -37 MILLION gold. THAT IS NEGATIVE! Just to be sure I check the empire info screen. YUP. He has an income on 42 gold total and an expense of 437 gold. <p
