The band is listed as increasing combat speed by 0 but adds .2.

Try finding a unit you recently moved that may be trying to do path finding and try moving it elsewhere. From another post: I ran into the grayed out turn button again today still on 0.299. I had ordered a pioneer to move to another side of the city. Units currently will not move through a city. I started looking around to map to see if there was some way to re-enable the next turn button. I thought
End Turn Button: We're getting reports that the end turn button will (seemingly) hang randomly. This cannot be...we must discover the pattern. The first person to figure out what's wrong gets a virtual pizza. I ran into the grayed out turn button again today still on 0.299. I had ordered a pioneer to move to another side of the city. I was pressing the next turn button during on a long game. Debug file Dump file
I was moving through the game quickly and tried to place a palace. Debug file Dump file
Completely approve of Stardock's development mindset.
Longest game yet, had a level 5 town. Tried to place a school and crashed. Debug file Dump file
1. I attacked the enemy sovereign outside the last enemy town. 2. Because I defeated the enemy sovereign, she returned to town. 3. I attacked the town and took it over. The enemy sovereign still in town and was now my color. Is this supposed to happen? This new sovereign was stuck on auto explore (I couldn't toggle the switch on her). Almost every turn this new sovereign tried to create a new town so I kept having to s
250 is the highest I have been able to play actually. I usually crash out between 35 to 80. I can usually tell when it is about to happen. Things like duplicate combat for each fight or the next turn button graying out for long periods indicate an impending crash.
I was repeatedly clicking the turn button. I was around turn 250. Debug file Dump file
This happens quite often in my games as well.
I seem to only be able to play the game 20 or 30 mins before I get this crash. Debug file Dump file
Game crashed after a long play session. There was no memory dump file. Error File
I loaded a saved game. Whenever I started combat it would do the combat twice. It would resolve one and and then resolve the same combat again. It continued to do this until the crash. The game crashed when I was trying to place a market for a city after I had recaptured the city. Error File <a href="http://irongamer.net/navi/errors/Elemental0
I pre-ordered this week. My card was charged today, registered the game in impulse and have been trying out the beta. So if you pre-ordered last month I would assume you would get in. The two posts above mention the pre-release filter option in impulse is important. I would have missed it myself if not for an earlier thread.
Summary Stuck in defeated game. Creating a "new game" just returns to the defeated game. 1. I had one city left and was going to get wiped out on the next turn. I decided to start a new game before defeat. 2. I pressed ESC to bring up the menu. I picked main menu. Next is selected New game. I created a new world, a new sovereign, picked a factio
If you want to double check, make sure your Impulse settings are set to show "Pre-release Versions" using the Blue Icon in the top-left corner area. (It looks like a list-box with a drop-down arrow next to it.) And, of course, check the spam/trash folder in your E-Mail.
I would have missed that filter option, thanks. Yeah, I got the order notice email, just wasn't sure how they were handling the beta and serial.
Does it take Impulse a while to process a pre-order? The ordering page said it will process when the game is released... I can't register the game in Impulse as I don't have a serial yet. Or does beta access happen through a different process?
Gildar sounds like someone was playing Final Fantasy and couldn't think of a unique name. "Hey lets just add 'dar' on to 'gil', Gildar." I'd vote no on Gildar. Rigma is ok, makes me think of Drachma though.
