Having a greater amount of customization would be great, and yes having the professions be more different would be nice as well, but the profession thing I believe can be modded already at least Seanw3's Master Affliction mod has a bigger difference between the classes from what I could tell. As for realism when it comes to using a bow on a horse history has plenty of examples of heavy cavalry that also used bows, the Persians come to mind for one. I will agree that a

Turns out the problem is that there is a bug that causes the game to treat all user made maps as "Tiny" maps, or so I've been told and that appears to be what is going on. So the work around for this is to change the minimum city distance for Tiny maps and that will affect your huge maps, I've tried this out and it works. This of course means editing the ElementalDefs.xml. But that was pretty easy and was only a single value change. Just have to remember to c

Ya, I had already thought of the changing the graphics for them but was hoping for a simpler solution then that. Personally I liked the Mass Effect 1 helmet toggle which allowed me to toggle them on or off for each person individually. I do like NanakoAC's idea for passive benefits for not having a helmet. But like seanw3 pointed out that would be hard to teach the AI. Looks like the easiest thing for me to do would be just to modify my own sovereign and give her

Is there a way to hide helmets? Helmets are nice but whats the point of a custom sov. if I don't get to see their face ever? So is there a easy way to hide helmets or something similar?

Ok tried you suggestion and it didn't work but it gave me the obvious answer to at least get around it. The game is treating the huge map like a Tiny map instead. So I went and changed the value of the Tiny map city distance and that worked. So I guess I'll just have to remember to switch it back for a tiny map game. Thanks for your help.

I'm enjoying your mod a lot. I love huge map games that last a long time. Currently though there is the problem with city spamming. The game is treating the map like a Tiny map for minimum city placement with is 5 tiles instead of a large which is 7 tiles. So I'm currently trying to figure out how to get the game to make a minimum city distance of 7 or 8 for your Huge maps.

Thanks for pointing that out. I have no knowledge when it comes to modding really but now I'm trying to figure out how to get a min city distance for the huge maps from the Larger maps mod found here https://forums.elementalgame.com/436540 Currently its automatically set at 5 which is much to close for a huge map. I'd like to get up to 8 or even 7 but I'm not sure how to go about it. I tried adding the line <MinDistancesBetweenCities_HugeMap&gt

Does anyone know How to change the minimum distance between cities? I'm playing using the larger map mod and I would like to increase the number to tiles between cities. But I can't seem to find any option in the files to change it. Any help would be appreciated.

You can always edit the amount of perks shown per level up. Just edit the value in the ElementalDefs. The line you are looking for is 5 Just change 5 to the number you want shown per lvl. I've been using 6. I noticed that this does have a problem of making more options at lvl 4 then just the Path perks. I don't know if this will mess up t

I changed the value of the xp gain so it was more useful. I had it set to give me 5xp with a 30% chance. I'll probably drop that lower to 3 or 4 since its a sure thing. Bummed that it only works for one city though, makes the governor path less appealing. I guess just get one governor for a city and leave it at that. Hope they fix/change it in a patch though. Thanks for the response.

I was wondering if the Adventurer's Guild is suppose to only give xp to the stationed champs in the city its build in and not in any others. The description leads me to believe that it was a faction wide thing so every city should be giving the bonus xp to stationed champs, but it is not. Also it seems to be giving the XP 100% of the time or I'm getting "lucky" for 10+ turns I was watching it. Has anyone else confirmed this? Is it an already known bug?
