Truth be told, I like to mod games and frequently spend about as much time fiddling with them as I do playing them. As mentioned, I've adapted to the changes and can get through a ToA game just fine these days, but I realized that I would have more fun with a DA-style economy plus all the lovely gameplay additions of ToA and I'm willing to hack away at the game in order to reconcile the two. Like a lot of GC2 players I found my economy stumbling pretty badly after upgrading to ToA. After a while I learned to cope with it and I'm doing well again, but I"ve also come to the conclusion that I simply don't like the new economy and I'm willing to go to some lengths in terms of modding to undo the changes. I recently wrote in two custom political parties, and began a game using one of them on a custom race. Everything runs fine until I try to declare war, when clicking the VOTE button causes the game to crash.
