I'm not at home so I can't post a screenshot, but in my current FE game, the AI definitely used a strategic spell on me. As soon as I declared war on a nearby faction, I saw a spell animation above one of my cities. However, my issue is that I couldn't tell what spell had been CAST. There was no icon in the city description or on the overworld map indicating what enemy enchantment was cast on it. In the end, by individually hovering over the different n

I haven't installed the Beta for 1.29, but I thought I'd share this for Frogboy's benefit in case he's watching. I sent some scouts into the backfield of my nearby ally to explore what is back there, and this is what I found... http://imgur.com/3XSjn2a Essentially what we have is multiple stacks of Pioneer armies huddled around a settle-able spot, a crystal crag, and an earth shard. Looks like ALL the faction

Thanks for the tip about the arrow keys! Playing my third game now. I have a much better hold on the beginning of the game at this stage. Lots of fun stuff happened at the beginning of this game which is making it really enjoyable. Completed a goodie-hut quest which resulted in an award of a Wolf Summon. So I got a wolf companion for my Champion. Then my Sovereign obtained a Training collar from a random bit of treasure. She happened to be right n

I know I'm pretty late to the party, but I thought I'd post my thoughts on Fallen Enchantress, as a huge fan of Elemental. Yes, Elemental did have issues, but I can't deny that I had fun playing it. I think I beat 2 or 3 maps, and that equates to at least 30-40 hours or so of gameplay. Elemental didn't dethrone Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic or Heroes of Might and Magic 3 like I'd hoped it would, but it was playable. Other games and hobbies and life

I'm a huge Elemental fan. I watched this game for months and months before it came out. I was playing the Beta Builds prior to release, but allowing people with much more time on their hands than me to give input. My initial reaction to the release of Elemental was poor. I really wanted it to be a great game that I would still be playing years after release, like GalCiv2, Heroes of Might and Magic, and Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic. Obviously, E

It's going to depend on your taste in games. Galciv2 is never the same game twice. The AI is great, and it's really fun to see how each game unfolds. It can be brutally punishing on higher difficulties. I've never played the Civ games, so I can't really react to your question all that well. It's a 4x type of game, just like Civilization. Is it just Civilization in space? From what I've heard and read from Civilization fans, no it's not. It's

I'm curious how this will work for saved games, and how multiplayer will work for saved games. In my multiple years of playing Age of Wonders and Heroes of Might and Magic, seldom was a game completed in one sitting. In fact, the method for saving and reloading said games in such a way that everyone who re-joined joined back up playing the same players was a headache. I usually played these games with friends, so we knew when we'd get togeth
