It is happening to me too, can't play the game because of this.

Actually, I figured out what the problem was and now I can see and use all spells. When you click on the star button that adds a spell to favorites, only click one time. It looks like it isn't selected but it is, if you click on it a second time it will look like it is selected, but it isn't. So what you do is, click on the button one time, than go to another spell and go back to that first spell and it will in fact be lit up and ready to go.

yes but how do you check that? I see no screen in the game to see what my mana is either.

I did have an item, found a piece of armor but it doesnt show up in the inventory screen.

So did they really take out the option to choose islands, continents, etc?

When I click on my Sovereigns Portrait, doesn't show how much essence I have and the old character screen doesn't seem to be working. The one where it shows more of the stats and such. Any other way to see how much essence I have?

Yeah, and when I clicked it, it didn't show the armor I was wearing in it. Just the cape.

I was only able to research maybe 5 levels of diplomacy, after that I can still research Diplomacy but there is nothing to research. I can only do a non aggression pact with other npcs. No alliances, etc. Did they remove all the research techs for Diplomacy?

You always start near a food tile, the garden is no longer needed.

Some units do in fact counter attack, like a wolf for example, however, many don't counter attack.

I have researched up to lvl 6 in spells and there is only one spell present in Tactical combat. Also, I have tried making all my spells favorites but it doesn't work. I Was able to set some spells as favorite but after that, I can no longer set anymore as favorites and I also can't remove the ones I set as favorites before.

yeah the character inventory screen is gone, cant check also the stats of my hero like essence of mana.

I am confused, why did they take a bunch of the customization options out? Like eye colors, pants, etc? Also, why did they take the option out to choose what kind of world you want? I don't see anything for multi continents, etc?

The game that will be released is not going to be the final version. Frogboy even said that he would continue to work on this game for at least another year, which means that 5 or 6 months from now the game might be completely different from what it is now, due to balancing and adding new content and such. I really don't understand what people are worried about.

you should definitely be able to build farms and mines on resources in your territory, it shouldn't have to be contiguous.

I was using capitar and was able to build a farm just fine.

Im playing a large map but its just ridiculous. When I didnt research questing, there was in my mind enough goodie things and quest things on the map but I think maybe when I started researching quests, it just kept adding more and more. It is too much.
