One little bug : I was trying out the different gaming modes, and first loaded a 'classic' galaxy, gigantic size. Tested out a bit, then went back to the main menu and started a new game, 'battle of the gods' mode. When I clicked on next on the race selection screen, the rest didnt follow, I didnt even get any loading, but I found myself dropped in an empty galaxy map. Went back to main menu again and did the same thing, and everything is fine now

Absolutely ! I'm an IT consultant which is a job with plenty of downtime ( travelling, waiting for meetings, monitoring systems that probably won't fail, etc ... ), so I tend to play quite a few games on my laptop. Well as many have said before, it's too early to give a real review, so I'll just throw in some first impressions : 1 Buying & Downloading : well done ! my visa payment was processed instantaneously, I donwloaded the stardock thingie without hitches, and the game itself downloaded at a steady 600kbps. Minor Nitpicks : in the Firefox browser ( latest build ) I can't select my birthyear during registration, so I had to do that part in IE.
