There's nothing to say that we WON'T get 2-3 more expansions. Especially if you like the game and let all your friends know and more people buy it. I mean, money is still money - and we got this for free, and I agree with you on many points. But there is still the possibility that we can get more. Besides, there's also going to be a ton of mods out there soon enough anyway.

The "cost" for the -10% global unrest is -1 growth in that city. But to be honest, since you're at level 4 already - you probably have a fairly decent enough city already. (someone make a mod where I can use prisoners for soldiers)
Whenever I use Rain of Arrows, the game will freeze for a few seconds, and it'll then catch up. Subsequent uses (in the same session) don't appear to slow things down. [edit] Sorry - delete this. Now that I've read the 1.1 changelog...
On Dynasties: I agree that the idea to pass your empire/kingdom along to the next in line makes sense intuitively. To avoid the Save & Load "problem", perhaps the Sov himself/herself should be deemphasized slightly. What I mean is this: have your Sov age, and as they age, they start to lose their potency. At some point in time, it simply makes sense to hand over the throne to your offspring (whom you still have control over) as their power would exceed yours.
Master of Magic was alot of fun, with a ton of varied spells that could potentially alter the game. Yes, there were sometimes severe balance problems, but if it went through iterations, those could get taken care of. (And balance would mostly concern itself in MP, rather than SP imo. If you don't want to be so imba in SP, just don't do it.) I want magic to have much more interplay in the game. I want to be able to raze a city fro
