Tracking, scanning, verifying - waiting to *return* in the true professional hands of SDC'entral. Expecting a galactic uproar of a "Welcome back", boys. [e digicons]:borg:[/e]

Great news! Will your membership_customers be advised through eMails once that brand new SD-Central product is activated? Just got an update for GC2-Twilight (editors or somethin'!) & SkinStudio-7 from GS and somehow it didn't feel like an authentic StarDock process! Keep us informed, please.
Excellent... but, now i want to hear about some GC3 plans! [e digicons]:D[/e]
TOV, It may surprise you to learn that i actually didn't make the tri-color "stadium" you inserted in your earlier post. I just provided the ASA modteam with a whole bunch of filtered_recolored_warped assets (Icons+Queries) and they picked up the FootBall soon after while probably adapting some of my work to their particular needs. Considering i multi-tasked editing steps for about two weeks worth of extensive decisions *for free*... it's kinda puzzling to find out som
Fair shot at some fame, i guess... but read on down that "list" and you'll see a few discrepencies, IMO! Some that should be waaaayyyyy up (+) in rankings and others that simply aren't located at the proper ratings slot i'd personally give over while considering FPS, MMO & RPG gameplay (of all time, btw) weirdness also; 81. Sim City 2000 (+) pivotal product for micro-managing complex systems. 76. Crysis (++++) Kill 'hem all if that's your kinda bloody fun.
Alright - done. I had to use 4shared which smoothly looped up the next four files on their server. USFM-1 USFM-2 USFM-3 <a href="http://www.4shared.com/file/cmJhN6CI/Ultimate_S
Sure, i still have the whole MOD archived on some external BlueBerry HD. I'll pull out the four RAR files (3 at 100MBs+ and the last about 6MBs) and upload them to FileServe later this afternoon, but this process takes time on my extremely slllllooooowwww ISP_bell_CA uploading speed limits... i'll be back with the validated Links once done. EDIT; Okay, i've wasted enough of my precious Bandwidth time with that stupid FileServe junk site... it kept refusing to process any of th
Good call on both Stern & Shafer, this superbly timed out business move may very well prove to be pivotal for future SD endeavors. Now, we'll also probably get the GC3 sooner and in some deserved innovative terms.
Ahhhhh, the whole puzzling and yet thrilling joy of MP competition. It's just as if our intellect is being driven to the tectonic undergrounds of brain hell. Where we suddenly realize gameplay isn't a fact but a mean of boosting personal pride. While the crowdy crews hit the chat button only to skip it at the perfectly right moment in order to blow up the opponents' head. Don't get me wrong, MP has its own market or feasible potential... but when it comes to pure fun,
Not to be "annoyingly" insistent... Please *DO* fix the long overdue situation where Tiles terrain naming is screwed when we scan through them (planets) in the usual sequence. And -- hopefully -- begin work on early development steps of an entirely new GCIII version (Now, that the behemot Civ-5 is out, i think StarDock *must* hit the gaming market with its modernized flagship product once more, asap!!). [e digic
Yeah well... the point of having a *local* library where we can "still" upload our stuff is just that -- the place is genuine, owned & operated by SD staff and we can actually reach *much* more people (as in formal & pro-active membership and true believers in the game!). Sadly, everything i've worked on over the last few months (ie; XWorlds & CoSH) cannot be shared with anyone *HERE* unless they fix it. [e digicons]
Mobo goes Kaboom, Kaput, Black Holed to Hell! Yep, even more "problems"... the relatively old Acer Tower blewup the NVidia board. It was to be expected since the default PS only gave out 300W altogether. I have so many devices connected to this, i *WAS* asking for troubles eventually. So, i figured i might as well put in a new PS too and found a pretty good ThermalTake rated at 600W+. Then, came along the hard choice of a compatible (but slightly better & new board
Well, i'll be darned... that worked flawlessly! Going from my default "Frenchy_Québecky_OS" to a properly managed registry entry in (essential!) English really was a strange solution if you ask me! Besides, the normal stock game_fonts were *also* fixed while this reg file merging process did its (or yours, in fact!) magic. As usual, many thanks for your kind & swift response and help, Kryo. Now, i can
Ooopppss, forgot to mention this important fact; strangely, TA loads and plays fine!
After losing a whole 500gigs drive, i had to restart from a brand new one. So, i figured might as well pickup a copy of Win7 and go on from there. Lotsa of files were lost and i have yet to try recuperating a few "important" things from the blasted HD... but that didn't stop me from putting the essentials (SeaMonkey_Browser, AVG_Free, Gimp, a few games, etc) into the new OS. Problem is, when i went to re-install all three GC2 from a fresh Impulse setup(btw)... download
FIX it , StarDock. ...or else, X-Worlds' #07-C fleets & other modded stuff will forever remain mine -- only!
NBC, beware. CNN is old news, now. [e digicons][/e] We want GC3! Soon, or we'll start our own TeeVee show.
Banned for NOT catching all of the Yo_Momma Jokes and... more!
I couldn't find the thread earlier... so here it is ! Slamming the game away. [e digicons][/e] Seriously, there's tons of really good stuff (and suggestions) in that one -- too.
Bumped... since it seems FrogBoy is in an "updating" mood! Really, that's where you might find WHAT to fix (or consider, btw) in the next version. [e digicons]:D[/e]
The usual fix, please... Surface Tiles should match their description with the "pictures" when cycling through planets! [e digicons][/e]
Let's face it... like all "games", it simply fades away sooner than later. What really didn't workout for me though (from a SD's standpoint) is the fact that the library Uploading capacity vanished (I *DO* have huge updates made up for both X-Worlds & Cosh... and sadly, i'm the only one using them it seems!); it was just like saying to modders --- We, at StarDock, don't mind GC2 stuff anymore. Well, okay. We, got it. Obviously, priorities change in life (
Dunno if i understood you correctly but here goes anyway... I think you want to do a maze within a custom map that would allow some areas to be "harder" to move into by jamming ships path to a bottleneck center, right? Indirectly, this could be achieved by using fake "invisible" ships -- but, it's quite complex. First, you'd need a sort of neutral race which can't play and won't have a homeworld... but with the ne
Freedom(s). There, i said it. Shame on me? Well, shame on anybody who can't see the whole concept of communicating in this realm of ours called the web. It's a new "way of life" in fact. Not far from the cantine talky around the noon meals... any & all people would fit in as much as they're allowed to. Sure, there's a line to be drawn where objectional behaviors must be controlled, but tell me - seriously - have you ever been able
What would really get your interest in getting one?
Nothing, really. It's just the usual techno_gimmick_of_the_trendy_moment. Besides, anyone knows how fast stuff fades away in the 'puter world. Truth be said though that i *do* own a tiny portable (which serve(d) only as a backup solution when the main desktop PC failed temporarily last summer, btw) and i don't use it much if anything. Steady, solid, reliable supply of continual volts from
