Update - the Omega drivers solved my game crash problems and they were a breeze to install. Thanks Stardock and others for the help.

I'm having a similar problem. I've got a 2 year old laptop that I can't get the game past the "loading" screen before it crashes. The tutorials and the initial game setup interface work fine. My laptop is a pretty good one, Sony Viao GRV680 and I've got the latest video driver from the Sony Viao support page. Here is my debug file, please help!! Cant wait for custom ships based on the TTA books in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

WIth the ability to make custom ship models for GC2 i'm hoping some one will take the time to make a few models based on the TTA books by Stewart Cowley. If anyone hasn't seen the art work in these books you need to check it out.
