Since updating to 1.01, in some of my tactical battles I have been getting a hang issues that seems to pertain to enemy archers. When it comes to their turn I can see a red box outlining them but they do nothing and their turn does not end. I can move the map around and click on stuff but the battle never proceeds. The only thing I can do to continue is hit auto resolve which is not what I want. This seems to have happened randomly in about 2 out of 8 battles a

Can someone please explain the bash ability and getting knocked prone to me because I don't seem to be getting it. I thought it meant the target loses a turn but every-time I use it successfully my enemy just gets up and attacks me anyway. The only thing I can think it does is make the target spend its movement points by standing up but if so then that is kind of weak as the AI is already in your face so it would probably just attack you and n

That is as I said before, give options to make all happy. I prefer randomness, I feel that is the whole point of a random map, the true randomness. Then others can have the predefined maps based on size (number of players) with predefined and balanced starting locations just like the maps from many a great rts games of the past. Let this great game be everything to everyone so they can play the way that makes them happy. Everyone's idea of fun is different

But then again, to me Random map means RANDOM MAP. The lack of a true random map generator was one of the things that really bothered me in WoM. I do not see why you would be upset as my original post stated to give an option at the start so EVERYONE could pick what they wanted and be happy. To call it nonsense just implies that you fail to see that different people enjoy different things. That is why games have standard maps for standard games and random maps

If anything, give an option at map start for even or uneven start locations. I understand the strategical balancing aspect for competitive players but I personally love the randomness to unbalanced start locations. After all, life is not fair and is random and I love the challenge that brings and the outcomes that can come from having good and bad start spots. It keeps it interesting and alive so please do not put an end to random start locations!

I like having 1 build queue. I like having strong champions. I like strong AI. I love this game so much AND I understand that everyone has the choice of what to create and how to play/role play BUT Heroes are definitely obscenely overpowered. Thanks for the info. Kind of neat in a way but methinks it would be cool to at least include a basic version of each type of unit that can be created once one has the means to create them. I wasted quite a few turns on this as I thought they would just show up in the unit types or spawn as the wildings do when you get their resource spot. Anyway, thanks for the help.

If I have the warg resource and wargs in my stockpile, is it normal that they do NOT show up when I train units? The only way I get them is if I custom design units. Is that normal or should there be a default warg unit showing up?

Raaaaaar! i just had the same thing happen as well. If I load my turn 153 it just crashes before the save loads. If I load my turn 151 autosave I get in game but notice enemy civ Pariden is missing from the power bar and the city I was about to attack of theirs is gone. The game then crashes when i hit end turn. Very upsetting, it was going so well and fun until that point.
