Yes, to all that was mentioned by frogboy.
Nasarog
Ouch, that's rough.
Guardians of the Galaxy with my wife. We really liked it.
Looks like it will have potential.
GC3 is getting a little tore up there.
Well, SD Central isn't supported anymore, so... I'd be happy if I could get my copy of Trinity and Demigod moved to Steam, but that can't be done without rebuying those games on Steam.
I have a couple of games there, can they be moved to steam? I don't even know how to access them. :(
@Tattyhat - you are just a douchebag. Everyone can see that there is a lot of detail in this game, which is exactly what you won't find in phone apps. They tried a few really interesting concepts, of which many did not work, but you can't just brush off a massive effort like this... unless you are a douchebag. It's true that the game does not have a competitive AI, but none of the the modern 4X games have it.
1) Snarky comments. Star Control had them. Ascendancy had them. Bard's Tale had them. Warlords had them. 2) 500 turns and more. I love to play long games. I love to have loooong tech trees/branches. I like micromanagement, but with good user interface. 3) I like TBS > RTS. The one RTS that is an all time favorite for me was Dawn of War: Dark Crusade. For TBS - Ascendancy (yea, the AI was whack), MOO2, Star Control 3 (Yea, too ambitious), GC2, ES, Civ4/5, SotS, and
Yeah exactly. And I just thought it was neat because the guys doing the interview clearly knew the subject matter, so they're asking quite specific questions directly about the games/gameplay... instead of some high level type stuff. Sometimes you can listen to an hour long podcast/interview on a game, and not
Not having posted here for a long time, it's interesting how many of these topics we covered in the podcast last night. Convergence if ever there was an example of it.
Whoa, Werewolf.. We joined the forums at the same time. Anyways, I was nervous for some of the interview, but then again, who wouldn't be. I'd like to thank Brad for coming on our podcast and answering our questions. I had a great time learning about the thinking process that goes behind scenes.
Talked to him last night, and I now understand better what they plan to do with the game. I am excited by it's prospects.
It's the only game besides Tropico 4 that I've played the last 2 months.
I waited on CIv 5 for a long time. Vanilla was just that, Vanilla. Gods and Kings was a vast improvement, and now I'm playing Brave New World, and I really like it. I would change a couple of small things, but overall, I like Civ 5 better than Civ 4... I know, I know, sacrilege.
Get XCOm too. I've got those 3 and play them all the time.
If it makes it to steam, I'll give it a spin.
Winter steam sale buy for sure! Going through a XCOM:EU play through right now.
Why not release en Epic Director's re-cut that has the E:FE-LH core game with WoM gameplay added in as a bonus. Minor civs, dynamic looking cities, the dynasty system and whatever else was cut out when E:FE was made.
This is today's iteration of Yellow journalism. Every generation of technology has it's own version. I've found 3 ways to deal with it. 1) Do not engage the trolls as much as possible. 2) Do not post personal information online, ever. 3) Use pseudonyms and do not have any links to your personal life. All of that is contingent on not being a piece of s*** yourself, and trying to treat others as you
Other than games I do not buy anything upon release. That's starting to happen with games as well.
They put a good review on Space Sector. The game has a lot of potential, but need much more development. Pretty good for an Indie studio.
On my Steam WInter sale list.
Good looking out. Thanks!!!
Now this is a DLC i'd buy!!!
