I think she thinks I'm just on the regular internet. The idea of GalCiv2 probably hasn't occurred to her. Warui: I get that a lot , but not since I installed the 1.1 beta. They seem to have taken care of that.
So in my latest 'Vicious Yor Conquer The Galaxy' game (the only ones I ever seem to finish lately), I started poking around some of my newly 'liberated' planets and looking in the details. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the planet's history is depicted in the upper left hand pane of the details screen, but to my chagrin, there's a bug. Master of Magic.... if anyone else has played that, you'll appreciate that in my GC2 custom civ, the leader is named S'sra. And of course he's half chaos/half life magic. Good game. Real good game. And the hell with Multiplayer, I like to be able to close up the laptop at the end of class and not lose my GC2 progress! Kudos on a great game.
So I'm playing as the Torians, I line up a few fleets around an Altarian planet, ready to invade... and the AI sends me a message to tell me it knows what's up. The exact wording was, I think, 'Not that we can do anything about it, but we know what you're up to.' Well done, Stardock. You made me laugh out loud in the middle of Classical Literature 350.

Second the comment about an autolaunch button. Also second the comments regarding fleet management and whatnot - stacked ships are a headache, especially with the large invasion forces needed to assault Dread Lord planets. DoW notifications and enemy ship sighted notifications would be beneficial. PLEASE make the minimap
I agree entirely, though I had to beat Siege using the 'rush' tactic, buying factories and colony ships and building up as much of an invasion fleet as I could get. It's a race to Planetary Invasion, really; get the ships spaceborne and into Drengin space before the Dread Lords wipe you out. I played on Normal, got creamed, took it down a notch, and it took me three tries to beat it. As for Achilles, I tried the same tactic, letting my allies tie up th
