I'll probably buy the thing when the "killer apps" start coming out, those games you just have to have. Unfortunately I bet MS (and Sony, and Nintendo) are banking on that, and that's why we'll see more and more promising games diverted to consoles over the forseeable future. Love the Master of Magic reference, that really was a great game and I hope someone does a proper remake someday. Was playing it via DOSBox a few months ago and other than the lack of build queues, it really holds up on fun factor thanks to all the innovative features. Personally I find a solid singleplayer experience to be the make or break of any game, in any genre (aside from MMOGs). Most of the time when I'm able to game, I don't feel like dealing with all the uncertainty of human opponents, and I'd rather take my time and goof around if I want. I can't find any way either on Stardock or this site to modify my "cart", and yet, it seems I have a quantity of 2 electronic-DL preorders for Galactic Civilizations II.
