Bichur, I just tried that, no joy. Which is frustrating because the two things I really use from OD are OZ and KLP. Bootskins, too. Any idea where I can find out if OZ is still supported by Stardock? Or should I just go buy WinZip? But thanks for your help, Bichur.

I tried to run Object Zip and received an error message about a missing file. I opened SDC and uninstalled Object Zip, then restarted my computer as requested by SDC. When I re-opened SDC, there wasn't a version of Object Zip available to install. Will there be a version of Object Zip available in the future? Thanks!

Sounds interesting. A backlit keyboard has helped with my work PowerBook in dark rooms. I'm designing a new system for myself now, and was just considering keyboards and mice. I prefer Logitech and was looking at Logitech's website when I saw Zoomba's post. I wouldn't be interested in colors, just trying to approximate 6500K white. The college I work at is moving to use iPod University so I bought a 1st gen iPod Nano, rushing to beat the release of the 2nd gen Nano. Since I wanted to learn about it, I bought a bunch of accessories for it, including a clear case, and a backpack with ElekTex controls on the left shoulder strap from Target for $70. The backpack is nice, but it screams "please mug me." I don't use it much personally, mainly in the car through a cassette adapter, and not much of that. *shrug

@ Andrew J. Brehm: The iMacs come with 3 USB 2.0 ports in the back. The USB port on the keyboard is a low-power 1.1 port. My Lexar 1GB flash drive won't work on the keyboard, but does with any of the three on the back. I don't think speed will be a problem with the modem, but power? Maybe you should buy a USB hub?

LUA (Permissions) Bug for setup of new OD programs in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

I had this problem after upgrading my OD programs. KLP (keys.exe) wouldn't load for my regular account. A quick check showed that Users had no access to the program, only Administrators and Power Users were allowed access. An easy fix with CACLS for one program, but if ALL the new programs have this problem...

"In addition to." I like that. I have a Sony V505 13" screen laptop with XP and Object Desktop, along with a lot of other stuff. I love it. I am also planning on buying two Macs. One will be a Duo Core Mini, which will be used for both a server and a media center. The other will be a used "iLamp" (G4 iMac) from eBay for my kitchen to watch DVDs, casual surfing, and videochatting. Both of these are luxuries which I don't need.
