I agree, I love the combat and the game [e digicons]B)[/e] If they can fix the slowdown in late game turns on large maps then man I will be a happy camper [e digicons]:moon:[/e]

Same with me man, I have played about 13 hours now and I just now had my first crash (playing Large map sandbox). Sure there are some things that could be improved (it slows down in later turns quite a bit), but other then that there are no big problems for me. I am having a hell of a time with this game so far, loving it to death. I am surprised just as you are to not be having more crashes or issues after reading some peoples posts. Yes its rough around the edges but

The campaign is more of a TUTORIAL! Play the sanbox/Continuos mode its where the meat and potatos of this game is at. WAY better then the campaign, I havnt touched the campaign/tutorial after doing the sandbox mode, lasts WAY longer.

Go to the sanbox portion of the game its alot better then campaign. To me the campaign is really jsut a tutorial. The sanbox/Continuis mode is way better.

THe game is very playable and extremely fun right now. I say pick it up right now, the game is epic and addicting as hell. only issue I have with the game is the slowodwn in the later rounds. Other then that, no crashes and just have had a veyr fun time.

Just played a few more hours and LOVING it even more! Wow, what an epic game! It really is addicting! Ive alreayd had more fun with this game then 99% of other games this generation on pc or consoles.

Just played for another 2 hours with the 1.05 patch and man im having such a blast [e digicons]B)[/e] [e digicons]B)[/e] Playing a large map game on the sandbox mode and man is it great! The people who work for Stardock do seem like gamers to me also, like you said. They GET IT. Get what you ask? Well they understand DRM, updating a game and keepign it fresh, mod tools and fun games. Its amazing to me that a company the size of Stardock can come up with
