Yeah, thanks Stardock for a GREAT game. This is the first game I thought I got my money's worth since Neverwinter Nights and expansions (NOT NWN 2). Thanks again for a GREAT game!!!!!
Glad you are having a fun time to bud [e digicons][/e] I was really on the fence about this game... but now I am soooooo glad I bought it!
I was on the fence also. Judging from what I've seen and read, I would say no. The problems I see are: * AI is very weak * game mechanics aren't implemented enough (ex: high level Magic spells don't scale, no meaningful documentation, bad interface, odd content, etc.) * Multi-player isn't activated. The cynical side of me thinks that that is code for "it hasn't been finished yet." Given the
I don't see anything broken with E:WoM. I bought it yesterday and played it into the wee hours of the morning forgetting that I had to work today. It feels ike the spiritual successor to MoM and what I'd hoped Age of Wonders was going to be. My only complaints are that unit design does feel a little thrown together and I can't figure out what tech and/or unit I need to build roads.. I know it's possible cuz I see the AI doing it all the ti
Quoting John_Hughes, reply 7 "is that it’s broken to the point of being unplayable" It is BS statements like that one that assure me that site is F'ed beyond repair. I am and have been playing E:WoM and having a good time doing so. Actually to me E:WoM is almost unplayable, so I really can't see this statement as a bullshit.
The game is aweso
Out of curiousity, what is it that you people find enjoyable about the game in its current state? I'm mostly in the "It has potential" camp but some people seem enthralled with it out of the box. Where's the allure?
It has TONS of potential for mods and next games in the series. The groundwork is set here for a fantastic series imo. The gameplay is fun as heck, its very deep and is just fun to play. The continous mode

They have jsut gained a new lifetime fan with me. I just can't get enough of this game [e digicons]:andrew:[/e] Its a very ambitous game made by a smaller group, they deserve some props imo [e digicons][/e] Instead of putting out more crap like alot of devs are doing and playing it safe, Stardock is reaching for the skies and making something with tons of depth and very fun. Keep up the good work!

I have the feeling its gonna be a while
Glad I am not t

I also have not had ANY crashes in 6 hours of playing.... sure there are some AI issues and the archer problem pissed me off yesterday, but so what. Everything is in place for an excellent series, cant wait to see what mods come out for this game.

Just wanted to say thanks for the game, its very fun and I can see even more potential with the mods in the future. I love supporting Stardock when they make good games. There is alot of depth to them, they might not be flashy or have tons of hype behind them, but sure can make some awesome games with fun and deep strategic gameplay. Also I respect how they patch things so well and listen to the community. So far i am really enjoyed my time with this game and I can see t
