You should be able to fix those odd problems with the latest catalyst drivers, regardless of whether it is an intergrated system or not. Download the latest from here: https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&folderID=27

81.98 isn't even the latest drivers. See if the 84.21 drivers do anything to help download: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_84.21.html [edit] ignore what I just said, didn't read the second post. Unless you want a link for the latest nVidia drivers

I would say the Terraformer is the best wonder. The reason is you can use the more devastating invasion tactics, and yet, if you win, the destroyed ground is replenished, as well as having access to ground that the recent occupants didn't have access to.

1) Maintenace cost of ships remain at 0bc (Both in the 'Ship Design' window, and 'Build Ship' Window), even though there is a Ship Maintenance Cost in the 'Financial' Window. I pay a lump sum for my ship upgrades so it can't be because of that. 2) New Games and Saved Games have the same Problem

I would consider the ground battles 3D (Tanks and Missle Launchers, not sure about Infantry). I would say that you used "sprites" in the wrong context, but if you mean more camera control/kenetic atmosphere, then yeah I would agree with you. But I would have to agree with everyone else about it not being a priority

I recommend playing Nexus: The Jupiter Incident. The space battles in that remind me of sea battles (The earlier part of the game anyway). That game actually inspires me, and I think that if stardock actually created a new empire building game, they could include kind of a zoom in function similar to that of Impeirum Galactica II, but use Nexus intense space battles

Ground tile specific improvement (i.e. higly rich mineral tile useful for manufacturing center), sounds an aweful lot like Ascendency, whilst the designing of your ships sounds similar to Fragile Allegiance. I am not bashing them for using these concepts, I'm praising them. Mainly because nobody else uses them at present and its a real shame.
