Dude...chill. Its simple. WindowBlinds reverts to the Classic theme when it unloads. If you haven't turned the Windows theme engine off, you can go to Control Panel, Appearences & Themes and then Change the computer's theme. Then go to Appearence and then select Windows XP Style and then click Apply. The taskbar and Start menu will revert back to the default XP look.

wbload isn't used in WB5. It doesn't rely on it anymore. It uses the OS theme engine. Does wbload.exe appear in the Processes tab on the Task Manager window? If so, it might be the remnants of a previous version. wbload.exe shouldn't be present in the Processes window. But I might be wrong on that...could someone confirm or deny that? So I don't make a complete prat of myself.

On another unrelated matter, I had that problem again. WB locked up when I left it running on shutdown. This occurs on the free version of WindowBlinds 5. Same problem; can't change skins. Again, I changed back to Classic (that's the only skin it would let me change to) and rebooted.

The forum critique is a bit out of place for me as well. I don't see any egotistical stances on here...but then I'm not on the forums all that much. When I have been on here, I've only experienced nice people who are always keen to help.

I know this is gonna seem like a stupid question, and for some of you it might well be...but could we possibly have an Alienware WindowBlind skin which doesn't rely on the Alienware GUITheme Manager? I'm asking because the download of that manager takes too long. I only managed to take 2.65 MB before the download stopped.

I managed to sort it out. I left it running when I shut down...and it kinda locked up on me. When I clicked Apply, the skin wouldn't change. I unloaded it, changed it back to the Classic theme and everything went back to normal. Scared me a bit. Its all sorted now though. <img src="ht

WindowBlinds 5 has become unresponsive. The skins install okay but I can't change them. The software loads normally with the splash screen but the skins won't change when I use the program. However, they do change at system startup. Can anyone help?
