Yes. I bought the original game for multiplayer (as a replacement for Fall From Heaven 2 really). I have about 8 friends who were all going to buy it too. (2 of them did, but the rest aren't going to bother now) I haven't even bothered getting my free copy of FE because to me it is now pretty much worthless. (Playing the single player game would just annoy me as I'd just wish it was multiplayer)

+1 Completely agree with the original poster. I bought the original game to play with a group of about 8 of my friends who used to play the Civ Fall From Heaven 2 mods together. It was only after me and my brother bought and experimented with it that we realised that MP was barely implemented. Then I read that MP was not going to be fixed until the release of Fallen Enchantress. So I waited patiently, and told all my friends to get ready to buy it soon.
