Is it possible to change the scroll speed to something between 0 and 100? The GUI won't allow this and I was thinking maybe it can be changed via a settings file. The reason I want to do this is I'm playing on a TV screen on the couch using a gamepad. I've bound the arrows keys to one of the sticks, but the scroll speed is way to fast.

Anyone doing that. I find it hard because of font size. I realize FE wasn't designed for that but I wonder if there is a way?

Many televisions do not have the full functionality of computer monitors. Also, what type of connection do you use? HDMI, displayport, or DVI? Please don't say analog VGA cable...
Well, I am using a VGA cable until I get the time to buy an HDMI cable. That said, I've tried a bunch of games since I switched to TV and FE is the only one that had an
I recently hooked my PC to my television. It running at 1920x1080. Initially FE retained the original resolution from my monitor (1280x1024), However it wasn't stretched across the screen but only used a small box at the upper left part of the screen. It was impossible to change the resolution (or do anything else) because the menu's buttons display area doesn't match their 'hitbox'. The 'hitbox' is somewhere to the right and below the button (actually in the corre

They say people won't remember War of Magic (it was 2 years ago). They say it won't "buy" good will back from those who didn't like WOM.
As a long time SD customer who was very disapionted with WOM, I can say that for me this isn't true. I am very happy with how SD handled this

Simple solution force a declaration of war or a treaty to enter someones territory.
Why do you think I am saying that? I said what I meant, and I meant what I said. They flopped an outpost in the middle of my territory
Its not 'right besides someone else's borders', its 'right inside someone else's borders'.
I don't see this as an issue of pioneer's cost, but rather that allowing grabbing owned territory by building an outpost inside that territory doesn't make sense. Do I then need to retake by planting my own outpost? Which outpost wins? The last?
In my last game I had a couple shards and some other resource covered by an outpost. Out of nowhere comes the AI and drops an outpost in the midst of my territory and takes these resources in one fell swoop, without needing to declare war. is this a defect or as designed? Seems like a rather annoying mechanic.
How about just adding a bonus for crappy starting position? Inform the player when he starts that his location will hurt him, and then let him earn some extra points for sticking with it.
I'm probably missing something, but playing in desktop resolution, FE does not use the task bar area so the entire bottom area of the game is hidden. This includes the soverein's action buttons. Any way to solve this other then hiding the task bar before starting the game? BTW - Running Windows 7.
So, when are the LE's planned to be shipped to Europe?
