A wiseguy, eh? I just downloaded Start11 (stardock.com to Washington). The word color is misspelled as "colour" all over the place. Even spellcheck in this message says it's wrong! [e digicons]:P[/e]
You guys are an American company. Why are you using British English in your software?
I just downloaded the trial version of Start11. How do I position the taskbar on the side of my monitor? Apparently, Microsoft has removed the functionality where I can simply drag the taskbar to any of the 4 edges of my monitor. That's absurd. I would expect, however, for Stardock to restore this functionality. What gives? I know it's possible because you can download ExplorerPatcher from github and then move the taskbar to the sides.
Cool. Thanks. It's nice to be able to make folders display as menus. Didn't know you could do that. Is there an option or setting, though, in ObjectDock to use the old ObjectDock Start Menu method? You'd think the devs would've kept that as an option for those who don't like the new method. Thanks, Jay
I'm running Vista (32) and ObjectDock 1.90 Plus. I hate the new Start Menu (the one that looks like the Vista Start Menu -- sorry StarDock devs!!!). How can I get the old style Object Dock Start Menu back? The one that is just a simple list, that goes as wide as the widest item, so I can easily see everything at once? Is this possible? I apologize if this is documented somewhere or has already been answered here. If there's another post, a link would suffice. Thanks a lot!
I sort of figured that's where they should be, but all that's there is eula.txt. Is there an easy way (now that I've already downloaded everything) to round up all the downloads for backup? Thanks, Jay
Been there. The only objects that it appears I can remove from the desktop are: My Documents My Computer My Network Places Internet Explorer What am I missing? Thanks, Jay
When downloading all the programs from Stardock Central, I have the "Create Archives on download" checked (don't remember the exact wording of the check box). Where do the archives go? Is it easy to grab all the program archives and back them up (CD or separate hard drive)? Thanks, Jay
I have added a Recycle Bin to an ObjectDock. How do I remove the default Windows XP Recycle Bin from the desktop? Thanks Jay
