Hey yall, I've recently become stuck at home due to some severe health issues and have alot of free time on my hands. I was wanting to buy a 3D card just to play this game (I'm a huge MOO2 fan) but go so exasperated trying to figure out which 3D would work with my computer (the more I read the more confused I got) I bought a PS2. Hey all, Sorry for the stupid post but I'm dying to play this game and I'm not sure if I need to buy a 3D card or not. Here are the specs from the sticker on my comp: ATI radeon express 200 AMD 2.2 GHz Athlon 64 processor 512mb DDR SDRAM From what I've read in the FAQ it seems my processor and RAM are OK but I don't know about the video card. As Astax pointed out GalCiv star sytems have a 5 planet limit, but I don't think there's any reason we can't pick a few of the more popular planets to place around Sol I would suggest Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto....but if anyone has other suggestions just drop em here! Hey all, first post. MOO2 is still one of my favorite games even with it's many flaws. There's just something about leading humanity (my favorite race) against all sorts of aliens skirting the edge of extinction. One thing always irked me though. If I'm playing as the humans I want to feel like I'm actually playing the humans. I want a realistic Sol system. Now I know MOO2 couldn't do this because of the limit on # of planets but I'm ass-uming GalCiv2 can. Please ple
