Yes, works in tactical. With the mouse in my right hand, is much more comfortable to press instead of or even , for which I have to reach over half of the keyboard.

Having to press or on the strategic map is a pain, works so nicely in tactical batles and should work on the strategic map as well. I admit this might not be a problem for left handed people and maybe the responible coder is one of them.
Maybe the Warlord trait could exclude one heroe in your souvereigns army from XP split calculation (if the current mechanic is here to stay). Would be nice to have a body guard by my side without limiting my experience gains. Similar profession could be useful for a souvereign that goes the path of a gouvernor, Homeboy trait could grant experience to heroes in the same city as adventurers guild does.
Do heroes get bonuses for levels they gained before or only for levels they gain from the point the talent is chosen?
Three options per opponent would be nice: 1) random 2) random kingdom 3) random empire
I think I get the 1000 turn thing. Remember GalCiv2 and some of the crazy scores you could milk given the time and patients.
Nothing wrong about the turn limit, but I would love to see something like Metaverse to track Elemental scores online. On the other hand this would keep people somehow away from playing modded games so it would be a two-edged sword if not implemented more open than Metaverse with it's strict
Get some karma, Colonel! Good points and outstanding first post, although I don't know how far the whole mechanics are going to undergo radical changes anymore. [e digicons]k1[/e]
Entangled ! With every move the archer's risk to get entangled increases. 1/N for the first movement 2/N for the second movement ... N might depend on the size of the battleground, but keep it tight as archers are meant to hold position. Defend them with melee units instead of moving them around like crazy (aka kiting).
Merchants? Roads?
...and still have an eye on your huge empire to catch Napoleon on his forced march to moscow. I would prefer to have backland some kind of secured areas so we could concentrate on front lines, which nevertheless get vast on larger maps.
Quoting Remzer, reply 15 Map size changes the scope of the game. DsRaider summarized this fairly well. Even one point of speed increase for units based on map size is a bad idea.
I agree, but on the other hand there are problems to defend and therefore micromanage huge territories. The game should encourage players to concentrate on front lines. I would love to see a concept of "secure backcountry" (or more mart
Here is another one. You can see ressources if you mouseover the settle button when a pioneer unit is selected or you can toggle it on/off permanently in the upper right corner where terrain informations are displayed. Please also add a hotkey for that!
Imbuement has been removed from the game. I loved the flavor of it, but players didnt realize they could be casting spells with their champions. That is a bit sad. Not that the simple imbuement mechanic was anything special or fun, but it added flavor and made the souvereign kind of special. Wouldn't it be a nice tone to have a split screen triggered on recruiting like when you found your first city? Whenever a hero joins, you could show
When you're at it, also support bluetooth heart rate meassurement to calculate our real-time heart rate and overall calorie consumption while playing. Seriously... I can't see any use of in-game clocks as long as dedicated devices are wide spread: http://www.amazon.com/Frog-Talking-Alarm-Clock-II/dp/B002NHI262

Some nice sound effect would help to notice the "Zzzz" on the left, maybe a short fanfare or strings. No need to repeat it for every empty queue or every turn though, just once per turn if one or more queues became empty right before.
Yes, right, you got it!
You are probably playing an outdated version, as edge scrolling has been implemented recently. You might want to read this post for new beta testers: https://forums.elementalgame.com/416779 Current version as of today is 0.77
1) On the strategic map, pressing should always end turns. This is not very reliable, sometimes it works and lots of times it doesn't. 2) Select your souvereign or a heroe and press "e" to get to the equipment screen. Press "e" again to close it, which doesn't work. Close it with your mouse and see it open again. Seems the the last keypress is still in the buffer. Could be true for other keyboard controls as well. By the way
Combine it with another idea I read on the forums. Let's say each individual has to be attacked and taken down seperately, so for example a group of five spearmen would take at least five deadly strikes (read five rounds as long as a single attacker has no multiple attacks or area attack) to be taken out. Mages strong against armies and weak against melee Melee strong against mages and weak against armies. Armies strong against melee an
I don't know of dedicated guides, but why not just having a look into Heavenfall's E:WoM-Mods to get an idea what can be achieved and how he did it: https://forums.elementalgame.com/forum/756 It may also be a good idea to get inspired by Heavenfalls attitude regarding the beta state of the game. Confusing the developers with reports on modding problems might be a bit counterproductive at this early stage: https://forums.element
You should be able to get your s/n on the order history page, it's an expandable link right under the name.
No, because I wasn't supposed to get it that early and it was completely removed from my account again minutes later. However, it is back now besides the update to 0.76. [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
Wow! Stardock knows how to tease customers to death. Yesterday Fallen Enchantress showed up in my Stardock account for download all of a sudden, although I didn't pre-order and therefore only qualified for the second beta round starting on Thursday. Honest as I am I didn't care and tried to steal two days of beta access immediately. Unfortunately I did neither copy and paste my serial nor did I keep the browser window open and after the game was installed... you
+1 and you can hardcode that in Stardock Central for any Frogboy game. [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e]
I guess the bakery does not reduce monthly maintenance cost by 1 Gildar, so please change the tooltip description. +1 Maintenance -1 Gildar per turn ... I am back playing GalCiv2 right now (Dark Avatar, as long as Frogboy didn't find the time fixing the completely broken Twilight A.I. ) and it seem
