I don't understand or agree with the people who complain about the computer races tech-trading with each other. They won't trade their techs if they are at war with each other, which they should be because that is part of your job as much as raising taxes. Tech-trading makes the game easier because you should be the only one that anyone is trading with.
This just happened to me. I am humans. EARTH got invaded by Iconians. I have never been at war with ANYONE. I am still not at war with the Iconians after the invasion. Version 1.96 Perhaps this isn't a bug. That, because they attacked without provocation,I should now declare war on them.

I believe so. I have always kept the game up to date. This occurred within the last two weeks and I check for updates at least once a week. I just thought I would make the developers and community aware.
An event occurred wherein I had to choose good/neutral/evil. I was wanting to go towards "good" so I chose the good option which had a penalty 0f -1 morale. As soon as I chose the option my entire empire's morale dropped to 1%. Nothing could raise it. I lowered the tax until 0%. I built dozens of morale boosters. Still my empire morale remained at 1%.
