Lol, I dunno, I remember in Spore autodownloading penis creatures on a fairly regular basis because of that system lol.
Seriously? Nahh, I highly doubt you'd get those kind of crap designs from this modding community. Slim to none. But I do believe that the mechanic of a background download during world creation would work nicely with Fallen Enchantress. There's no
Really would love it if the game would save unit designs in a sub-folder for each nation (i.e. Altar units in an Altar folder). Then we wouldn't have to prefix our names.
I don't want to derail this post (I apologize in advance, don't know where to post this), but I had a possible question/idea that maybe would be an interesting mod/integration into the game in regards to Unit Designs. I second this, though I think the size of the button only needs to be 1.5x it's current size. When movement points for all units are finished for the turn, the end turn button should light up or slowly flash/shine. I should also be able to cycle through all units that haven't finished expending their movement points. An icon next to the unit should show up (next to their portraits) so I can also tell at a glance which units have finished moving. Well I know it&
Yes you can. I've had that many times in Civ 5 and both AOW and AOW:SM. I'm not understanding where your getting this stuff from. Look TBS games are going to take longer than RTS games and they SHOULD. I personally don't want a fast TBS game were 1/2 the features were taken out for MP just to make it faster for those who's attention span is 5 minutes. Most games in the above usally takes seve
Burntsoul, that's a lot of assuming you are doing, and I will step right into it - the assumption that on release, the game will be 100% polished, playable and done, is IMO utter fantasy and I am willing to bet money against it. Look at any reasonably complex game of today - it's never finished on release date, and support often drags on month, or even years. That is because on release, the user base is usually significantly expanded,

Ha! Well, you have a friend now! If multiplayer comes out, I'll play a some rounds of co-op with ya, chance permitting (I have a couple o' kids as well). I guaranty you that I will be terrible gameplay wise, but I'll try my best. Maybe I can learn some pointers from you. I think it's always interesting to go over/discuss the game you've just played, especially if it's been played along with someone else. [e digicons][/e] </p

To understand what's going on in these two quotes -
Fair point, but you see my meaning. We're still waiting for a fully fleshed out fantasy game to begin with. Or would you prefer to se
Hah Hah 59% say NO! Solo single players WIN again. No need to implement multiplayer until waaaaaaay down the road after the game is released. It's just a waste of resources to me because I would never play it multiplayer nor did I ever care to play Master of Magic multiplayer. In fact that's what's wrong with so many games today is they add a multiplayer element to the game and then spend all their resources after the game i

I vote yes, and I'd pay up to $10 for the DLC or up to $20 for a more fully fledged MP expansion of sorts. HotSeat, PBEM, LAN, Internet, Co-Op vs AI, PVP? Hell yeah to any of it! I welcome playing a great video game with others as opposed to alone - be it FPS, RTS, RPG and TBS. The more the merrier! Does it have to have the same great game play as the SP? Yes it should be there (and of course be save-able over multiple sessions lik
Quoting Black-Knight, reply 2This "is\can be" one of the best TBS ever, that's why we are so critical! yes, but this game is horribly flawed. ive never played any stardock game before and im no fanboy. I just payed money expected a good strategy game. I will be patient but I sure as hell won't thank anyone for one of the worst releases i have seen in 20 years.
At the
