I agree. Stick a trade tab in the menu, to auto-construct caravans. The current system is a small step backwards from the GalCiv system, except unlimited routes means it needs a big step forward. Quoting mqpiffle, reply 7Agree. A civ style system where roads provide trade and unit move bonuses would be great.I disagree. Civ roads are a hassle.Quoting Naidrev, reply 10The caravan system should be a building, not a unit. In my game when I attempted to land on the Inn's square to turn the rat in my dude would overshoot it like he was on a water slide going into a square next to the inn. So I was unable to complete it since I couldn't actually land on the Inn anymore. Another quest I couldn't complete was rescuing some noble's son. My troops had the unit in their stack and when they brought him back to my town the unit just sat in my town and there was no completion.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 10I remember when Galactic Civilizations was being developed it was supposedly doomed because Master of Orion 3 was also in development. The two games shipped within 30 days of each other. Which might have been a problem....had MOO3 been worth the cardboard the box was made out of...
Thanks, I just spit pop on my keyboard. I was SOOO excited when MOO3 came out and jus
