Thankyou Stardock! I've been patiently waiting to fire up LH again and now it seems my waiting has not been in vain [e digicons][/e] What I see are mostly spell and combat changes. Will there be any changes to the economic system? I don't want to sound too greedy but it would be cool if there was a 4th unique pathway to upgrade your city alongside the Town, Conclave and Fortress; the Capital. This city class could be a jack of all trades type of cit
I hoping for a pre 2.0 patch that does nothing but focus on gremlins and rounding out content. By gremlins, please refer to the many posts found on this forum by Primal_Savage. By rounding out content, I refer to things like a Kingdom race not having a life shard creature with the Binding trait.
Yeah I think this should probably be the main focus of any new patch. And t
Thanks for the kind words. Quick status report on LH. In July we released 1.7. In August we released an update to that which was largely a bug fix. Right now we're about to announce a new fantasy game in the series but is NOT a replacement to LH (i.e. LH is a 4X empire builder, the new game is an asymetrical 4X). Once I have a chance we will be updating LH to v2.0 which is scheduled to have

One small request about summons - If you do decide to add more summoned creatures can you give some of them a unique AI so they move and attack on their own. I think its good to have some spells add an element of unpredictability about them. MoM did this with the magic vortex which I thought was cool that it moved on its own but the caster has a bit of control over it also. I think it can damage friendly units as well so that's a nice way to make a powerful spell a bit more risky for the
Yes yes yes! although at this point it doesn't look like LH is going to get the sort of attention needed to implement something like this. Cause right I'm guessing that Stardock has most of their resources working on the Sorcerer King and probably s

This does sound interesting. It also sort of sounds like a comparison to Star Wars: A New Hope. The viewer finds themselves introduced to a universe where an Evil Galactic Empire has won the day and is building the Deathstar to quell any further threat of revolution and dissent. We meet the rebellion that has to stop the evil emperor by any and all means. So instead of the Emperor we have the sorcerer king Instead of

Maybe Maul needs a nerf. Although it is a key part of Yithril's unique unit/strategy I think?
I think its time they "retire" from FE and focus on E2015. Recently theres been a huge comeback in turn based and 4x games genre and of modern design(not the classic mechanics) which kinda makes FE obsolete save minority of diehard fans. Ppl change, move on, so do their preferences and perspective. Goes the same for stardock, they need to reinvent or at least refresh...
Hi <
Honestly it seems to me like SD is already spreading themselves too thin; and personally I'm tired of constantly anticipating and dreaming about something better - as it is I could really care less about LH2 or any other enhancements to LH with E2015 around the corner. It always feels like I'm just beginning to sink my teeth into the game when SD announces that they've figured out how to make it better, and are work

Part 2. What features/content should a Legendary Heroes expansion include? Firstly a simple title for an expansion could be Legendary Heroes Reborn or perhaps something more mystical and darker that represents a new threat to the world; Legendary Heroes- Elemental Twilight or Legendary Heroes – the Darkening The premise for the expansion could be this. Ok these ideas aren’t all that original but nothing in the fantasy

Case for a Fallen Enchantress – Legendary Heroes Expansion 1) Firstly sales/economic. Frogboy already announced on one of the journals that the Downloadable content packs sell really well and are a great source of income for LH. Secondly I’m willing to bet that the original income from hard sales of Fallen Enchantress & Legendary Heroes was below initial exp

I have the Fallen Enchantress - Legendary Heroes (I got it free as one of the original purchases of the original Elemental that bombed on sale). I didn't mind FE-LH but after 1 or 2 games it felt like I had done it all and there was nothing new really to experience. The races, tech tree's, spells & strategies etc all felt very generic, and it was basically the same all the time. Since then I got into Civ 5 after BNW came out Now I know Civ 5

Haha well some of those are spells you mention are chaos/nature and to get champion level you kindo need to take full life magic and warlord [e digicons][/e] Trying to pick up extra spell books depends on the RNG gods in control of those nodes. But seriously those longbowmen are insane. 2 volleys at most will take down Great Drakes, Great Wyrms etc.
