definately my favourite program, i use it to completely replace the windows taskbar and it works like a charm. as for icons, i use the marcintesh themes which cover every program i use. for programs which dont have the exact icon i simply choose an icon which suits best.

Even with the new version of ObjectDock, if I have it set to run on startup (through the program or by placing a shortcut in the startup folder of the start menu), it still opens up the "my docks" window as well. Last night I found another workaround that should work for anyone who has the same prob: Use the built-in windows xp task scheduler. You can set a p
there are a couple of docklets which can open the start menu. do a search for start menu, i'd do it but i really cant be bothered, too hungover!
what object is it to start with?
anyone else tried the new firefox rc2? i installed it today and it wouldnt load up any pages. It also wouldnt shut down properly. i've reverted back to rc1 for now and it seems to be working fine...
Diafragma: pls tell me what icon set u are using for objectdock. i'm gussing that's what is at the top of ur screenshot there (in the first screenshot that you posted for this topic)
Won't bother me. I'm with 3 for mobile and iinet for internet and phone. As long as Telstra reception stays good when i'm outside of 3's coverage area, i'll be happy
I just hate all phone support. The only one I've found that was any good was Telstra here in Australia, I'd be one of their customers if they had decent rates at all. My ISP is really good though, you can sign up for an email service which warns you automatically of any upcoming downtime or problems in your area. If it does go down for an unknown reason, it's usually not for long at all.
i'm having a problem with adobe acrobat reader. when i click on the 'view' or 'edit' menus, the program crashes. otherwise it works fine, and everything else looks really great under wb5!
not sure how old this news is, but the newest version of winrar is 3.5, and allows for custmizable toolbars. the ones you can download from the winrar site are pretty good. i'm running winrar 3.5 (evaluation, i should prob buy it when the free trial period runs out though) and the latest windowblinds 5 beta, and it all runs fine
that'd be a good idea, just depends on how much it would cost them i guess. I'm confident giving them my credit card details though...
Finally signed up today, been using Object Desktop and ObjectDock Plus for a few months now. Really happy with the products, even the WindowBlinds 5 BETA works fine! I'm not really interested in the premium suites or even the WC browser, I just figure that I use the site a lot to download skins (haven't tried making any yet, maybe one day) and I guess I feel that I owe it something. If signing up will keep this site running and ensure I'll keep getting
No problems at all here. Yet to try out a new skin, will do that later today. Running Windows XP SP2, Pentium IV 3GHz WindowBlinds 5 BETA Troubleshooting Report: WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC. Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. If you suffer visible corruption (overbright) on the frames and have a NVIDIA board then please be aware this is a NVIDIA
Well written article Brad... and equally good reply Bgzzy. I think that the main thing is that any bundled software is optional, or at least completely removable if it is automatically installed. Really, we shouldn't have to scour the internet for a program or registry change just to remove Messenger. If Microsoft want to create bundled software, good on them, but like Brad said, the operating system must still be the main thing t
Well, found a work-around but no solution. Just stopped ObjectDock automatically loading on windows startup and then linked one of my extra keyboard buttons to start objectdock. Much easier to press that once after windows has loaded than to get rid of the dialogs on the screen or close the extra objectdock that is running. system tray seems to be working all of the time now too
I have Object Dock set to start when windows starts. When it starts, the "My Dock's" window automatically opens. Sometimes, this doesnt happen, but instead Object Dock opens twice and all of the docks are duplicated. Anyone know a solution to this prob?
