Reply to Activation on Deskscapes in Object Desktop WinCustomize Forums

Basj, Today I tried again to activate, and it stated I had to many subscriptions so pick one and not use my Stardock sign in. So, I tried my serial # and it activated. I tried it before, and it didn't work. I did start a ticket but now my problem is solved. The whole thing is strange. Hopefully it will keep working. Thanks for your help.

Activation on Deskscapes in Object Desktop WinCustomize Forums

Suddenly today Deskscapes tells me it is deactivated. when I try to reactivate it tells me its already activated on another computer and I have to buy another license, or it will quit working in 5 days. I've had an Object Desktop subscription for probably 15 years and Deskscapes is on another of my computers and 1 laptop. How come all of a Suden it's a problem. I would appreciate someone looking into this and getting it fixed.

I tried your suggestions and still the same thing. Did it twice. I think I'm just going to uninstall and go back to Winestep. I had noticed that after so long they put out a new version of Object dock, so I thought I'd try it. Not much of a update and not worth the time and trouble to get it working. I still love and use most of the stardock apps but Winestep works so much better. Thanks for your quick response and help. No need to go further.

Thanks basj I will do that. I'm headed out of town shortly for a few days so it will have to be when I get back. I'll let you know. FYI this is a fresh install from scratch on this laptop within the last 2 days.

Freezing all the time in ObjectDock WinCustomize Forums

So I tried Object Dock 3. It dosn't seem to be working very well. every time I add a icon or do something on the dock it freezes and won't let me do anything with it for up to a minute. and to change skins is almost impossible. As soon as you open up skins to choose a different one it stops and you have to use task manager to end it. Any suggestions.

Install procedure in CursorFX WinCustomize Forums

I am still using CursorFX version 2.16. I want to install V4. What do I have to do to make this work? Any special procedures? Do I uninstall V2.16 first? Help would be appreciated thanks.

I Live in a little town in Nevada, even better I live on a 3 acre tract in the boonies so pretty well away from everything. There are only 8 cases in our county so people here are not taking things to serious but My wife and I are both 67 with issues and my disabled daughter is a diabetic so we are on lock-down. I was a semi-prepper so I'm doing good on supplies and I have a decent pension so over all we are in better shape than most. Stay safe and best of luck to all.
