That said, for all the graphic frustration, the crew has done a really fine job about being transparent on the requirements all the way through.

FAN-tastic news. I've been really remiss on helping test, but my machine doesn't run it yet. As soon as I can get the graphics upgrade required, y'all will hear from me... mwahaha. So far as I can follow, Brad, and from what I could do before my machine kept tanking, it looks GREAT.
Hello. I finally got this sucker installed and wanted to try it out and see what happened prior to leaving town again. As a technical idiot, I figure I've got to recreate the lowest-common denominator's bugs... The game crashed when scrolling down in the "here's what's happening" plot box where they say that hopefully things will be friendly. Then the config program crashed every time I tried to change something. Total hang fixable only wit
(Apologies for not having gotten reports back: have been uberbusy planning a conference: I'm one of the schmoes on a lower-end machine with graphics on the motherboard, so I suspect I'll have a number of interesting things to send, to help see whether a graphics upgrade will turn out to be truly mandatory.)
Brad, you don't remember me from Adam. Way way WAY back, long long ago, there was an online discussion of MOO1's tech tree, and how to make a better version both elegant and realistic. Gents, I'm a medievalist who totally missed out on GC1, but hope to kick in on GC2 and, insofar as it might eventually become PBEM-able, eventually dirty-trick you all out of the skies... <img src="http://images.stardockcentral.net/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIG
