You know there is one game that seems to be loved by a lot of people, even though it has levels, and that is Puzzle Quest. There is a demo available that gives a good taste of teh game. It tops out at level 6 I believe.

Not to change the subject much but how would you compare Jutland to Pacific Storm: Allies?
Too bad no one would update Rules of Engagment. I had that on my Amiga and was very cool.
I have lost my computer... :( My wife is a big HoMM fan so I decided to get her King's Bounty as a Christmas present. When I left for work at 11pm she was playing the game and when I got home she had just woken up and started playing again. Now I can't play Fallout 3. *sigh*
First off you guys are doing a great job and I am glad to see you get milage out of this engine than what became of Nexus, even though what you guys did was still top notch. (you knew I had to throw that game in ;) ) I, unfortunately, haven't had time to check the new update since the wife took over my computer with the Christmas gift I got her. damn, that King's Bounty :( Since I haven't gotten teh new mod yet I really can't comment 100% but I would say that the battles should not be
I recommend the Hoyle games. I just picked up Hoyle Puzzle & Board games from Encore. It use to be a Sierra game but I guess Encore picked them up. http://www.encoreusa.com/product.aspx?upc=705381165200 I bought mine at Wal-Mart. I already have it wrapped up but seems to me it also included some other big puzzle game in the vein of Hodge Podge. (2 player adventure puzzle game.)
Youtube vid Presentation tech trailer from 2004. Well, I finally got around to trying to rip this sucker from a Bink format to another that I could post on youtube. Sorry about teh sound but I could not get any sound. Bink is a pain and I hate it!! Anyway I thought it interesting to see how Midway (later called Battlestations: Midway) started out and what they were shooting for in teh game. At least in Paci

lol.. just giving you a hard time [e digicons]}:)[/e] This is my favorite part though... On a final note: Sins of a Solar Empire also deserves some kind of award for one of the most clever and alluring titles in gaming.
*cough*cough* https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/333035 *cough* yup! Great job guys. Very well deserved.
Any time. Almost a full year and I am stil loving this game. Not many games you can say that about.
One of the year's great success stories was this space strategy title from Vancouver-based Ironclad Games, which put the small developer on the map and scored another hit for its increasingly influential publisher Stardock. Ostensibly a member of the "4X" genre of domination-oriented titles, Sins of a Solar Empire , with its explicit focus on battles and its real-time nature, is more like an RTS with 4X scale. Best part is... <p
Spock losing his cool is coming damn close to that... I hope he won't be screaming around like a little girl with spittle flying or something like that. About the only passable form of rage for a (Half)Vulcan I can imagine is a silent deadly one. Maybe its that 7th year thing again - pon farr
or those darn flowers again!
JJ is giving a little present for everyone. Trailer has new stuff http://downloads.paramount.com/mp/startrek/Trlr2_internet_480p.mov
Hi Majorstress. Not to derail the thread too much but the forums have gone down, my contact has left HDI and any chance of anything happening is long gone I am afraid. The engine and IP is owned by some hungarian bueracracy due to Mithis closing shop years back. There was talk of trying to scrap together some money buy the fans to by the engine and make it open source but that has been met with deadend after deadend. There are still some modders working on it and even doing campaigns but with
I don't know how I missed this. And you all thought I was crazy to ask about rotating sections way back before the beta started. Now a Nexus mod could be created as well. [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
Quoting Pherdnut, reply 8 I was looking at the listings for sci fi the other night. 5 hours straight worth of game shows and BS 'paranormal investigations.' No sci fi. TV execs are idiots. Indeed. They score recurring funding for stupid "reality" shows and the ever so sci-fi laden ECW, but somehow can't pull it together to rescue any of the recent half-dozen or more one-season wonders that would have
Keep up teh good work guys. Looks like I can give the nexus Trek mod a rest [e digicons]^_^[/e]
William Shanter responds to the New Star Trek Trailer Responce:
Well no matter, I will be grading this movie against Star Trek II.
http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/startrek/ DL is inconsistent. My bet is it is getting slammed. It is also exclusive through apple so the official site won't show it until tomorrow. BTW. It is needed to be seen in Hidef. Youtube hack job didn't do it justice.

Here is an interesting interview with "the man". While most of it is not specificly Demigod focused, still a good read though, the last part mentions "Chris Taylor will be at the Leipzig GC Developers Conference this week. Today, he will join a panel with David Perry and Michael Capps to discuss Best Selling Games, and on Wednesday he will present a session entitled The Struggle for Independence and the Making of Demigod." We need to get that posted here as I am sure many will be interested.
Has anyone else gotten a Crusader no regret vibe from teh game?
