Whip, I cannot argue that funny business took place while the accident was taking place. But the customer who found the fin'gy still should have given the finger back to the poor sob who lost it. The customer should be ashamed of himself for putting a fast buck over a man's right and dignity for 10 full fingers. It should have been up to the doctors to say too late so sad on your finger, that is all I am arguing here.</fo

I'm no doctor and i'm guessing you are not either Ted But the guy still should have relinquished the finger in hopes that it could have been reattached. There should have been a strong enough chain of evidence that the guy who scooped the digit up to his mouth could have still proceeded with his bs lawsuit and the poor guy who lost his finger could have had it reattached. Yes the manager / owner are at fault, but not the poor

RALEIGH, North Carolina (AP) -- To a dessert shop customer, the severed fingertip found in a pint of frozen custard could be worth big dollars in a potential lawsuit. To the shop worker who lost it, the value is far more than monetary. But Clarence Stowers still has the digit, refusing to return the evidence so it could be reattached. And now it's too late fo

6 by COL Gene Thursday, May 05, 2005 how can we be running surplus a $54 billion when we had a annual projected budget deficit of 425 billion which fails to account $50 billion of the supplemental that Bush requested for the Iraq war? What we have is a temporary spike in collections we do not have a surplus. A sur

I have nothing against Samuel L. Jackson - I love every movie he's been in - I just dont think he fit in SW. I mean, I was always waiting for one of his 'smooth movie lines'. I think my expectations of that coincided with the whole SW atmosphere. What about Jackson in #II where he said "This party is ov

You threw out a straw dog that has no legs. How has it become more Christian? DO you mean the Christians are more Vocal? Or that the laws are being written to conform to Christian principals (this is and has been true since the creation of this nation). Point taken Dr. Yes, with an openly Re

But wouldn't an America more strongly influenced by Christian ideals mean the lessening of some of the freedoms we see today? Ted, I know you are a huge advocate of small government, yet why do I get this feeling we would start to loose individual freedoms as the Religious movement here picks up steam and becomes more entwined with US politics?

If America is serious about getting off foreign oil why don't we get tough and start restricting sales of these gigantic SUVS that guzzle gas? They have become so popular even as gas has become higher and higher some only get like 12 miles to the gallon. The less fuel efficient they are the higher tax they should be hit with each year until it hurts to

I donated money to a cancer charity that will remain untold. Later I start getting letter spammed from them to give more. But the worst is I then start getting letter spammed from all the other organizations. Did they sell my information to other charities?!! Now I simply tear up all letters up from all charities as they come in. <!-
