Is there a 250 turn limit? My current game is stuck in turn 251 and won't do anything. Vista 64, 8Gb (more info in debug.err) Savegame: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10456742/AutoSave.EleSav I have a previous save game, but I've tried twice and it still won't let me past turn 251. Looking at the debug.err, something really bad happened after the autosave on turn 250. debug.err: http://pastebin

Didn't seem to be doing anything special. A Spider threw poison at me, and when it should have hit, the game crashed. debug.err: http://pastebin.ca/1928004 Crash zip: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10456742/Elemental1_06-2010-08-28T18-29-54-79.zip Looking at debug.err leads me to believe the sound handler isn't cleaning up after
So I left my computer running Elemental when I went to work this morning. I come back this evening, maximize the window and after the music starts back up, I get DX: Invalid Call, then CTD. No crash dump was created, but I did get the debug.err: http://pastebin.ca/1927200 All my computer info is in the debug.err, except for the fact that I don't overclock.
I had just finished killing the Demon guarding the old man when I crashed. Vista 64 gave me a standard "program has stopped running" dialog. debug.err: http://pastebin.ca/1925561 Crash zip: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10456742/Elemental1_05-2010-08-25T21-37-35-927.zip Also, when switching back to the new Eleme
I had something similiar happen in the campaign.. My first city was labelled "New Pariden". I just loaded from a save, and now Its labelled "Altos". It's real name is Yidarin (and the card agrees...)
So I've been having lots of problems, but I managed to slog through to almost the end of the Campaign. I was having problems all day yesterday. I'm consistantly crashing within a turn or two. In general, I finish unloading the two ships, then disband them, and try to restack the free, dialog-driven units. I haven't been too successful. I was having the same problem before the patch, but thought I'd give more debugging help since the patch didn't fix me. &
As a frenchman, you should know how to spell pique , which is what happened to your interest. It didn't look at anything.
There's also several similar reports, also with dumps at the impulse forum for Elemental...

So I just tried and fight a battle by hand. I could never get the map to zoom or pan, so I hit auto-resolve. Now I'm stuck trying to level up a unit because the game is waiting for me to finish my move, which I can't do (my mouse pointer is stuck on the battle movement cursor?) I also seem to be getting periodic crashes for no reason. (Elemental: War of Magic has stopped working. Windows is looking for a solution...) Did none of the b
I don't have WIn 7, but I do have Vista 64. I can't go for more than a few turns in the campaign without crashing.
So I just checked with my bank.... It says the charge has been authorized, but I don't see Elemental on the "My Games" page. I wrote sales@stardock about an hour ago??
nevermind. It seems that clicking the link silently added it to my list of bought games. It'd be nice to be told that I'd actually spent the tokens, or got a confirmation dialog. Being redirected back to my games list might have been useful. It would have been even better to make clicking the buy link actually buy it, rather than sending me to https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/store.aspx. I suppose there's some arcane setting in SDCentral that I missed since I don't use it that oft
Any special reason that I can't buy Sins of a Solar empire using my totalgaming.net tokens? The link inside stardock central just sends me to the standard order page where I have to spend money. If I try to use totalgaming.net inside stardock central, the link is dead.
