I've had the same issue, except it was in the middle of nowhere, not w/in another factions city. It happened during the "auto center" issue when you are placing something during mouse-click. It ended up making the area where it was placed visible to me, so i didn't fret. Besides i was more worried about the save/oom bug at the time.

I have had the same problem with this going back to the first version. Currently running 64 bit Vista. It was always on saves up till this 1.09, then it started happening on some spells, etc., but always beginning around 100-250 turns on the large maps. I've tried just doing manual saves, but even those bug, and it isn't something i can predict, like every 4th save will crash, etc. Sometimes it is the 1st, sometimes it is the 5th.&nbsp
