Thanks very much. For some reason I just couldn't get him to exit my city except to the same spot for that one city... I restarted a new game and used the method you suggested and it worked in the new game, just not my previous game that I had the issue. Thanks much! I had noticed a video posted mentioning path finding issues with cities, but it wasn't quite the issue I was having previously. Must have been a weird fluke for my previous game.

After playing for the longest time ever w/o an error... I trapped my Sovereign behind one of my own cities on a dead end of the map... I can't figure out how to get around my city. Every time I try I get put into the city and when I try to exit it always puts me on the dead end side... Any ideas that I'm missing on choosing where I exit my cities? or is this just something that simply needs to be fixed and avoided for now.
I personally miss turn based tactical games. I do prefer the speed/inititive of the creature to determine which creatures move first and how often. Adds a bit of depth to a combat system that is lacking in real time games that all too often are determined by who can click amazingly fast the best.
Great ideas. Also, unsure if it's an option but you should be able to save your sovereigns appearace template for future games.
I love this idea. Simple, yet overlooked way too often!
