You don't show as a current subscriber of WinCustomize; only as a current customer (which means you've purchased a product from Stardock). If in fact you've paid a subscription fee to be a WC subscriber, it's not showing on your nickname (maybe you didn't cross reference your accounts?). Have an admin check into it for you and make sure you have the email address you subscribed to WC with and try to have a copy of your WC subscription receipt handy

Someone needs to edit this post above for the # of the activation. DD
As far as I am concern I can access my account but I got adds wherever I serf here and I can't rate skins anymore. It is like I'm not a subsciber anymore... When looking up your Nickname, it shows you as a Citizen, but the real info is in the User Level that shows you as "Current Customer - 4". You
Most likely, the screen shot's owner is using Icon Pagager and/or IconX. Icon Packager will change your icons to different pictures and IconX will allow you to change their size, zoom them on mouseover, change the look and text of the label, and other properties. You can find all of Stardock's products and their descriptions at https://www.stardock.com/products.asp DD <img src="http://images
paid two days ago, written twice, I'd like to get my copy now please!!!! You already posted this same rant as another thread. Please go back to the thread you started and read the information posted to you there. It's at: https://www.wincustomize.com/browser/Forums.aspx?ForumID=167&AID=94118&maxre
I think I remember something from another thread about checking the icon size. Some skins only have icons that will change the large or small sized icon choice (size is dependent upon the skin's creator). Changing from the size you currently have to the other size (big to small or vice-versa) may help. Don't forget to refresh and/or reboot to see if they've changed. Hope this helps. DD <img sr
people tend to become that way when they keep their head up there Hence the moniker of Asshat??? LMAO! I'd love to see things from his point of view but I just can't get my little ol' head that far up there...
LMFAO! Got that strait little troll-y one! DD
Grab and drag the docklet off the dock to remove it. DD
AFAIK, you can just grab and drag it off the dock and it should dissappear. Hope this helps. DD
I love my WB5! I've ran all the betas since the first and never once uninstalled them; just updated right over them (including the full release version on the 29th). Only problem I've had is a slow boot and an issue with my McAfee components sometimes indicating they're not all installed, but I don't think that has to do with WB5 as I also just recently got a registry cleaner and I noticed that since I did a full cleanup the first time I'll get the
I opened up my WC browser earlier today and it tried to download Aquarium Desktop 2006 for me. That was the last thing I had downloaded using my WC web browser, but that was almost a month ago and it's been so installed since that time. Closed out WC and reopened it and nothing...maybe just something amiss with the browser and connection to the WC servers? DD <img src="http://images.stardock.com
One possible solution to the problem would be to have users download first, comment second and rate third in that specific order (if they try to rate before a download or comment, it would not accept the rating), and show the rating given on the comment left. People will think twice before granting a malicious rating to a skin.
#6 by Citizen Majic7 Thu, November 24, 2005 6:35 PM I have the same image problem with the start menu opened covering the button that Majic7 has also. I have the RC version installed and also made sure that the blind was the current Arrow one by deleting it first before installing the RC vers
I go from post #4 to #33 without anything in between. I could have sworn there were comments in there prior to this evening and that I could see them. Using WC browser here to view and post to forums (I know that sometimes WC and others don't see all comments - especially ones from J.U. posters but I can't believe that there were almost 30 posts just from J.U. posters alone). Did WC have a melt down again somewhere and some posts got lost? DD<
I'm confused. I've been paying for an OD subscription for 3 years now. Now they want to charge me again for the update? The reason why it's a subscription is because it updates periodical. I didn't buy Windowblinds 4, I bought the subscription to the program. Or is this update only payware for people that just bought Windowblind
I actually found it by accident about 2 years ago...LOL I was getting ready to highlight some objects for selection and the last object was down at the bottom of the page and I used the scroll wheel at the same time that I was holding down the control key and *poof*! all the printing on the page changed size! What a shock it was then (I thought I had really screwed something up LMAO) Then I found out that it worked in emails and now I don't ever ha
Sorry that my suggestion didn't help. I never thought to indicate to you to check the font size setting in your browser, though Glad that my other suggestion helped out some others here DD <img src="http://images.sta
The only problem I see is for people like myself that find one or two really great themes/blinds/etc. that they like, download, apply, comment on it and then don't download again for a long time (as they don't change what they have for months on end). That's really not fair to those that have limited space (no room for hundreds of downloads) or those that don't want to change their setup to something new just to earn points. DD <
I get this on occasion, and I don't know why. If the page isn't using CSS, you can try holding down the Control Key while scrolling down on your mouse's wheel (assuming you have a wheeled mouse). This will change the font size larger on most webpages and even in emails that don't use CSS. HTH. I updated them. See my reply in your post on the new smaller Xmas lights, ID. I, too, prefer the smaller lights. DD
These are just WONDERFUL, Island! I like the small ones even better than your large ones (even though I have a large 21" CRT) because now I can hang them all around the screen and not have them on top of some of my other objects and such. Thank you VERY, VERY MUCH for the different directions of the lights...very wanted and appreciated here (like Aimzzz I've
I have the latest SDC and I haven't purchased Blog Navigator and nor will I. I just went to the View menu and unchecked Blog Navigator in there and it doesn't show anymore in SDC (and I don't have the demo installed either). The only message I see about hiding stuff says that Unregistered Shareware versions will not be hidden. DD <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt
well, if you rotated the image first, that'll be a problem. If you just used the script though, it should be fine. I didn't change the image in an editor. Opened up Builder Mode on DX. Then left clicked for menu and chose Properties. Went to Script Edit, erased what was there and inserted the scri
Sub Object_OnScriptEnter() Object.Rotation = 90 End Sub When I add this to the script (replacing the first set of lines), it causes the whole strand of lights to disappear and reappear (instead of just the "bulbs" appearing to flash and change color. It did rotate the strand the way I wanted i
