I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm an optimist and hope for the best. And if they fail to make a better game than Age of Wonders or Master of Magic this time then the 2nd expansion is their VERY.LAST.CHANCE! (Then Brad will be Eliphas the Inheritor and the Stardock staff the Wordbearers when they lose in Dark Crusade!) "I could care less", does that mean that you care like 25% or does it mean "couldn't care less!" ?

No Worms at all! The original Worms was one of those BIG games that you played 15 years ago and don't forget. It rocked. Now we got Worms Reloaded with braindead A.I that either misses completely or hits perfectly....was that a waste of 20euro.... Company of Heroes gotted a high position atleast :) Nr.34 is good. Dawn of War II gotted Nr.99. That's ok but where is the original Dawn of War?? That g

I must be the only one here who haven't tried the game yet [e digicons]:-"[/e] Since I don't know much about the pacing and stuff I can't really comment on Elemental. But in RTS games I absolutely prefer the smallest maps possible since I want ACTION and not simcity and TBS for 10min. In Age of Wonders MP I would also prefer a small map since you HAVE to be on your toes and be ready ALL the time! You don't know what he's going to do so you have to
What did you like about H5 that wasn't in H2? Was it the graphics, was it the one off feats, or was it something else? Best regards, Steven.
Graphics The first thing you notice which is also a massive improvement compared to Heroes II. A 3D world, everything looks good and is detailed. Am I the only one who have never been into battlefield? This feels like one of the big gameseries that "everybody" has to play but I've never been interested in it.

Was slightly tricky to choose but after 5min of considerations between two of'em I made my choice. I only read the popups since 5000 words should be enough. The ones I excluded (from first excluded to last) and why: Til deaths do us part - I'm not sure I like the ability to get unique Firespells from a quest. It also has a lot of conditions. It sounds complex and hard to balance. I like the population sacrifice thou

I meant Homeworld II as that's the only Homeworld I've played. I got to an asteroid cluster where I fought some generic ships that was like medium in everything. Gotted +20% in something after I've killed some of'em I remember. It was indeed 3D and complicated. Too much I say. I remember a discussion on this forum where someone brought up Conquest: Frontier Wars. Was it you? :p I've seen it listed in some list that I think w
Annatar makes a point. What I was just thinking too is that Supreme Commander came out around 2007. That game was a big step up with RTS games. It's sequel was weak, but the original gave you the same scope design that Sins uses (give or take) and I still play it to this day. I feel that it should have been there. Moreso than DoW, which, as I said earlier, doesn't do much more than Starcraft did for RTS games.
</

People, it doesn't MATTER if your rig can "run" a certain game! It's about running it on MAX that's the point! THAT'S why you need to upgrade! I can't understand people who are satisfied with medium graphics lvls in games. I don't want to play them if I can't max them on atleast 40FPS. I've had StarCraft II for two weeks now but getting 5FPS in 1920x1080 on High/Ultra (in the tutorials) doesn't cut it. I want 60FPS nonstop! If yo
If we stay ahead of schedule then the design is good and we get more time to expand and polish, if we fall behind on the schedule then it's Toby's fault (though seriously it means the design was to ambitious and some things will be cut ).
Why can't you just take the time you need and instead cut down on the postsupport?
It should be opt-in, not opt-out, and it definitely makes more sense than this kludge of third-party file hosts and forum posts. I'd happily settle for a new version of Stardock's dear old SmartException, which was only about crash reporting and was opt-in by design because you had to start it manually (or maybe you had to take it out of your Startup folder and then it was opt-in, I forget).
Ridic
Just to point out the obvious here. Brad wrote an entire novel of back story. While this is not the same as a monster manual, it should give a fairly decent amount of story about the world brad was hoping to create.
Sure, if you got the book which wasn't included with the game. So it doesn't help. All the monsters, formulas and stuff should be explained in-game like in Age of Mythology .</

They should have had cooler music and his voice should be darker like in Duke Nukem 3D. Hot girlvoice: "So is the game any good Duke?" Duke: "Yeah, but after 12 fuckin years it should be" I love the selfirony [e digicons][/e] A funny thing was that all the blood'n'gore was there but when you saw a naked chick from behind her butt was pixelated....only in america....and where the pope lives I assume [e digicon

Feels 1337 [e digicons][/e] But the Windows firewall I haven't EVER had to configure anything at all except approving things accessing internet. So is the firewall in Windows 7 64 good enough?

The first PC game I bought is Age of Wonders and I still have the box and everything I got with it. The book is probably 300 pages thick. Contains the story even. Really like it [e digicons]:)[/e] Also got some Commodore 64 games with box and everything. Last Ninja and such. My brother bought those though since it's before my time.
