In no particular order since I don't know how good the games will become. Diablo III - Still play Diablo II so that was a lowoddser Might & Magic: Heroes VI - Really like Heroes V so chances are I'll like it as long as it doesn't turn out as Heroes III Elemental: Fallen Enchantress - You better beat Age of Wonders Shadow Magic as far as A.I and an arcadey competetive experience go! That's all I can think of.

When I first played Age of Wonders I didn't think much of the townsieges. I don't know how it was in Master of Magic but in AoW it was very simplistic. Defender moves first and moves his archers to the walls (there's no towers or heightdifferences) and starts shooting. As the attacker you move your archers to the walls as well

You're all forgetting a basic thing which CAN'T be backported. ShaderModel 3.0. War of Magic uses ShaderModel 2.0 Fallen Enchantress uses ShaderModel 3.0 ShaderModel 2.0 is why War of Magic has the graphics it has.

It always has fog in upper part of screen if you don't zoom. If you play on 16:9 screen 1/3 of screen is fogged. Very frustrating. So guys, be cautious. And add option to turn off fog altogether.
I'm playing through the HoMM V campaigns with maxed
Again? Going by the measure of games sold that didn't ship with the system, they didn't win last time. The Wii's biggest problem in the market is that people don't buy games for the thing.
I haven't been keeping track of that. GameReactor said that. They may have based that on amount of consoles sold. I think the Wii is the easiest console (of the Wii, Xbox 360 & Playstation III) to pirate games

I haven't played Elemental but I've seen alot of youtube vids and followed the discussions. I HAVE played AoW trilogy, MoM and HoMM II - V though. NO to simultaneous damage! I feel the attacker must have the advantage. I'd also like it to be like AoW in that it uses actionpoints so you can 'drain' an enemys movement so he can't do anyth

Haven't been following E3 for a few years. Just not interesting these days....It's mostly consoles & consolegames and that might be the reason I got little interest in it these days. Some people mention originality just like it was important. I couldn't care less about originality. I just want good games. I've seen the presentation of the Wii-U and I'm supremely impressed! I NEVER thought I'd be that impress
However, if a thread pops up on an upcoming FPS or something I have no interest in, I'm certainly not going to go in there and tell people, "Don't like it. It's boring. I'd rather commit suicide than play it." What the heck is the point in that other than to be a dick?
I didn't mean to come off like that. I just said what I thought about it. You start a thread

I like that he is himself and not some PR-guy throwing around nice terms that doesn't mean a damn thing. When he speaks he says exactly what he thinks and goes into detail of technical stuff. He doesn't seem to care if average Joe doesn't understand (which there is nothing wrong with. The elite prefer to associate with other elite people). I didn't understand everything but you feel more intelligent after having listened to him.</p
Back in Medieval times water was not important and ships that sailed far enough would sail off the edge of the world so they just stopped making them entirely. Rivers were not researched by most kingdoms as they usually spawned in enemy territory anyways. There were rumors of older civilizations being able to transform their military units into boats at the touch of the sea in hopes of adapting to this predicament but public reception was mixed.[
Quoting Campaigner, reply 18 Tridus Brad said that the engine couldn't support the things they wanted to do (but now they've fixed that). Yeah, but if you're building a new engine for your new MoM-like game, wouldn't you build in what you need? Improving it bodes well for FE at least.
Personally, I can't stand vapid FPS's, dull grinding MMOs and the plethora of crappy games that are all style and no substance. I like history, realism and complex games that actually make you *shock* *gasp* think. Pride of Nations is that type of game. Deep, complex and pretty realistic. That I find fun and interesting. In a day and age where so many games are being streamlined and dumb
