can anyone tell me if these are solely for Vista? I'm not going to throw 30 bucks away for skins I can't use. . .
TLK1969
is this for XP, as well?
great skin. . . I've been using it for a while, until it was succeeded by your newest progeny, LED3. Both are extraordinary, and I don't mind at all tossing a few bucks your way for such quality, super-useable work! Keep it up!
congrats, Javier, well deserved. . . now, where's the cursor for LED3?? ha ha!
bloody awesome! happy b-day mike
bloody excellent. . . another prodigal skinner has arrived!
go to vladstudio.com to see his whole collection, including wallpaper clocks--which are awesome!! You can subscribe, and get super-high quality versions of all his stuff, or just download the normal resolution stuff!
this is great stuff. . . been using it for a week or so. . . beautiful.
I sent Gabriel this message on his page--and just in case he reads these: Hey man (Gabriel), there are a few of us in the community who would like to humbly ask/beg for you to do a WB6 update to Buuf WB. There seems to be a Buuf renaissance happening after the release of a new IP. I have always considered this my favorite WB of all time--tied with Vienna and Vienna2. So again, I lie at your feet in supplication. . . Buuf WB6 (for XP, and I guess Vista, too) would be the la
Actually, I was going to suggest/beg for a Buuf WB 6 update. . . Obviously, several of us are of the same mind! Well, I add my name to the petition, and will enjoy these icons in the interim. Thanks, guys. . . beautiful work, as was the first IP!!
congrats to Nighttrain, and all!
Good show, Frogboy! Personally, referring to that other site, I do not put much stock in an argument on taste by a person called "bubba"(something or other) ranting on how "bulky" (wtf???) Aero Exec. is compared to the MS Vista version! I was also confused by all of the "glass" to which Bubba continually referred.?.? In any case, I happen to LOVE Aero Exec. (and all other Maxstyle, et. al, collaborations), and I happen to know for a fact that I have excellent taste. haha.<b
i think we need to have a virtual group hug!
all is forgiven, Leo. . . at least by me. A great measure of a person's intelligence is their ability to recognize and admit when they are wrong!
I'v got an idea john, start working on a second version with a little lumberjack scaling the start panel. . . or a little pyromaniac striking a match at the base. . . the options are endless. LOL
Frankly, Leo, I rather appreciate a solid core of skins that are very beautiful/useable. . . It is the skins with the fire-breathing dragons that should be the exception and not the rule!! 5 bloody well-deserved stars for this entire effort!! *****
Happy B-day, John. . . I hope yours are better than the overly introspective, depression-fests I usually have!! haha.
Lantec, Maxstyles is more of a collaboration than a business. . . You certainly can't dock them just because they put out a "Master" skin occasionally!
NO!! Vstyler, i.e. John Gordon is without doubt the Jesus Christ of Skinning!! (I hope that doesn't sound to obsequious or blasphemous.)
SkinneroftheYear--theMAXSTYLESgroup (I have to ammend my above vote (reply 19) to include the entire group at Maxstyles, since they collectively produce the highest quality skins around!!) OD--sexy(zoomer2)--messiah OD--harmony, spectrum, etc., etc.--MESSIAH CXPeroftheYear--J(avier)AROCHE !!period!!
SkinneroftheYear--VStyler WB--Vienna--VStyler WB--Spectrum--Vstyler WB--Glassmaxx--Basj WB--Harmony--VStyler
honestly, the vast majority ARE ugly. . . That is not to say, however, that there are not some truly exceptional skins (and artist) out there: Vstyler, Basj, essorant and Cycoced are just a few of the many exceptional artists. Skins such as Vienna, V2 Spectrum, Glassmaxx, Buuf, Sonix07 and Vectra to name just a couple of dozens of truly great WB themes. I would like to say, however, that just because I don't necessarily like certain themes, that they are not great to someone else. .
Basj's superlative premium skin: GlassMaxX
thanks, guys.
. . . thanks for the heads-up, Hankers.
